"I saw the reviews here and contacted Ted Cowan, the owner of this company. He came by soon after to look over the job and give me a bid. He was professional and knowledgeable and his crew (led by James) did a wonderful job! They were able to perfectly match the color of my stucco and completed the job in a timely manner. It is possible to apply plaster on the interior or exterior of your home, but we don’t recommend it. Only use spackle on plaster walls when the imperfection is small. It’s best used for nail holes or small dings in the plaster. Plaster can be tricky to repair, though, so if you run into issues, call a pro so that you don’t risk further damage.

Generally, your homeowner’s insurance might only cover ceiling collapses caused by problems under the coverage, such as a busted pipe. But if the ceiling collapse resulted from owner negligence, maintenance issues, or other reasons excluded by your policy, you could be on your own. Some policies might cover damages caused by the collapse but not the repair itself. Check with your policy carrier for the most accurate information regarding ceiling collapse coverage.
