You can get rid of fleas by taking several steps as quickly as possible. First, consult your pet’s vet to determine the best flea shampoo or medicine to apply to their coat. You can use a homemade spray to kill fleas on a mattress. To make the spray, combine equal parts water and distilled white vinegar. Spray the mixture on the fleas and all over the mattress.
