"I had an electrical outlet installed on my brick fireplace so I could hang my TV up. I was quoted from another company $600 and would have the outlet box exposed from the brick. I used Enoch and it done for $150. Plug looks great! I'll use Enoch anytime I need electric work done."

"I recently hired an Chau dang electric to upgrade my breaker panel, replace breakers, and install an additional panel for a generator. He showed up on time, was very professional, and explained everything clearly before starting the work. The installation was done clean and organized, and he made sure everything was up to code. I really appreciated his attention to detail and the quality of his work. Overall, I’m very satisfied with the service and would definitely recommend him to anyone needing electrical work."

"A & A GenPro Electrical is the company if you need to install an Emergency Standby Power Generator. It's been a pleasure working with Andrew, Ashton, Tim, Rocky, Eric, and Pham. They just finished our install today, just in time for Harvey, if he comes this way. They handled everything; slab, generator placement, electrical, plumbing a new gas meter, all inspections, and an extensive full-load test. We highly recommend A & A GenPro Electrical if you're looking for a fixed generator. UPDATE 08312017: At times you find out more about a company after the install. I would give A & A GenPro Electrical 10 Stars if I could. Our generator developed a battery drain problem after the first night of continuous use, and despite the conditions associated with Hurricane Harvey, they showed up. Bob, Ashton, and Eric did the troubleshooting and the subsequent fix. Amazing folks who go above and beyond the call. Our Kohler got us through two more days/nights, and our power came back on last night, and it's now in standby mode."

Electrical questions, answered by experts

In Waller, flickering lights during storms, frequent breaker trips, or outlets that feel warm may indicate bigger electrical problems. Rust or corrosion on electrical panels, especially after periods of high humidity, and GFCI outlets that trip repeatedly are warning signs. If you notice burning smells, sparking, or mild shocks from appliances, contact a local electrical contractor promptly to prevent larger repairs.

Helpful?

Schedule electrical work in Waller if you notice frequent breaker trips, burning odors, or if your electrical components are over 25 years old. The ideal time for non-urgent projects is October through March, when weather is milder. If you’re adding major appliances, preparing for storm season, or planning renovations, coordinating with a local electrical contractor ensures your home remains safe and efficient.

Helpful?

Coordinating electrical work with other upgrades in Waller can reduce disruptions and help streamline inspections. For example, if you’re planning a kitchen remodel or installing a new HVAC system, combining electrical panel upgrades or adding surge protection at the same time can minimize permit fees and speed up project timelines. Scheduling during Waller’s drier fall or winter months also helps avoid weather-related delays.

Helpful?

In Waller, homeowners often overlook surge protection due to frequent thunderstorms, neglect GFCI outlets in humid spaces, and sometimes skip required permits for electrical work. Another common mistake is underestimating the need for future upgrades, like wiring for outdoor workshops or backup generators. Consulting a licensed electrical contractor familiar with Waller’s climate and code requirements can help prevent these issues.

Helpful?

If your Waller home was built before 1990, has an outdated electrical panel, or still uses 100-amp service, it’s a strong candidate for upgrades. Homes planning additions like pools, workshops, or electric vehicle chargers, or those experiencing high summer electric bills, should consider improvements. Properties lacking surge protection or with visible panel corrosion especially benefit from electrical contractor evaluations.
