"Sean did a great job. He explained what he was going to do, and he put a great deal of time and effort into cleaning our extremely pet dirty carpet and furniture. We will definitely hire him again."

I have been in the construction business for the last four years full time. I can handle anything from new construction projects, remodeling, or just some honey do projects. If you need a new ceiling fan or a new deck or maybe just your lawn mowed, I can handle it.

"Many things had changed since I last purchased carpet. However, the staff was very helpful answering questions when I tried to compare and understand the qualities that each carpet company offered . The installers also did a good job and they were easy to work with ."

"While going through the teething phase, my dog decided that the wooden dining room table legs were his preference instead of the variety of numerous chew toys he had.  He damaged the rounded part of the pedestal leg at the bottom of three legs.  Wood filler was needed to repair the legs and then staining.  They did an AWESOME job.  The fourth leg was not damaged at all.  You cannot tell which three legs have been repaired -- the shape, stain, and finish match on all four legs.  I have an antique library table that needs some TLC.  Artistic Touch is the only place I will go.

Upholstering questions, answered by experts

Upholstering success in Tyler depends on selecting moisture-resistant and UV-protected fabrics, using high-density foam, and ensuring sturdy frame construction. Easy-to-clean materials help manage pollen and pet issues, while skilled craftsmanship ensures strong seams and proper fit. Regular cleaning, prompt stain treatment, and maintaining consistent indoor humidity all contribute to longer-lasting furniture restoration results.

Helpful?

In Tyler, narrow doorways, tight staircases, and long hallways—especially in older or ranch-style homes—can make moving large furniture for upholstery work challenging. Uneven floors, poor ventilation, or rooms exposed to excess sunlight or moisture may also complicate fabric repair or restoration. Watch for musty smells, wobbly furniture, or visible water stains as signs of potential complications.

Helpful?

For Tyler’s climate, choose durable, UV-resistant synthetic fabrics and moisture-resistant batting to prevent mold. High-density foam and stainless steel springs offer long-lasting support, while marine-grade adhesives withstand humidity changes. Treated cotton or linen blends provide a classic look with added durability. Opt for easy-to-clean, antimicrobial materials to manage local pollen, dust, and pet activity throughout the year.

Helpful?

Upholstering work in Tyler helps address worn or faded furniture, repairs sun and humidity damage, and restores antique or heirloom pieces often found in older homes. It also tackles pet stains, persistent odors, and outdated fabric styles. By updating upholstery, homeowners can extend furniture life, enhance comfort, and maintain a fresh look that stands up to TX’s climate and active lifestyles.

Helpful?

In Tyler, start spring by deep cleaning and checking for pollen or moisture buildup on upholstered furniture. Inspect sun-exposed pieces in summer and ensure indoor humidity stays balanced. Fall is ideal for pre-winter cleaning and monitoring for fabric changes as temperatures drop. During winter, watch for dryness from heating and post-holiday wear. Monthly, vacuum and rotate cushions, and consider an annual professional inspection.
