"TGR did a great job, sounds to be a cliche but they did the job, on time, with quality and on budget! We had our lounge re-modelled, including replacement patio and kitchen doors, floor tiling and sheet rock (ceilings). In a world of late show ups, escalated bids and shoddy workmanship, their employees, from initial quoting to getting the job done were exemplary. They encountered and addressed some problems we had (None of their doing) and we are left with another part of our home we are proud to live in. Tile shouldn’t be set tight against the tub. Bathtubs can expand when filled, and they can shift slightly with the weight of occupants. For this reason, it’s important to leave a slight gap between the bathtub and the first row of tile. Aim for a narrow gap of approximately 1/16 of an inch, filled with caulk, to allow for this expansion and movement while still allowing for tile shower waterproofing.
