Albert and his team at Floors Galore did an awesome job. The two man team installed the flooring extremely well and really fast. To top it all off the quote we received from them was the lowest price out of many other companies. We will definitely be using them again for future home projects.

I was looking for a company to install floors and countertops in my home and am so glad that I chose Floors Galore by Halfon for the install. Albert was very knowledgeable and had a great selection of floors and countertops on display to show me. We ended up having hardwood flooring installed in the whole house, quartz countertops installed in our kitchen, and granite countertops installed in both our bathrooms. Albert managed the entire project from start to finish and kept me updated throughout the entire process. His installers were great and I was surprised by how fast they were able to put the floors and countertops in. My home looks amazing and I will definitely be using Floors Galore for any future renovations.

Thanks to Albert at floors galore by Halfon my home looks great. I was previously working with a different contractor and it was a nightmare. Seriously the contractor from ****. To make a long story short we fired him and then found Albert. Albert was very knowledgeable and had a great selection to choose from. Pricing was great, work completed was great and the pricing unbelievable for the quality. Definitely recommending him and couldn’t be happier.

After visiting with many companies, we found Albert at Floors Galore by Halfon. He was very knowledgeable and had very affordable pricing for the remodeling we wanted to do. They renovated the entire upper floor of our house. They installed new laminate flooring and painted our walls, doors, and baseboards. They remodeled two bathrooms completely, installing new vanities, granite countertops, and tiled our floors and showers. The crews were FANTASTIC. We will be visiting him again for the rest of our remodel in the future.

Everything went well. Installers were quick and cleaned up after themselves. Ripped out existing laminate floor and and tile, installed marble on fireplace surround and wood floor in living, hallway, bedroom and laundry room.

BUYER BEWARE!!!! My experience with Albert/Floors Galore has been somewhat of a nightmare. Every error on their part was met with arguments and attitude. I literally had to argue with them to do everything the right way. The original contract was priced for over $15,000. Bathroom tile only was purchased through Albert. Needless to say, we didn’t make it past the bathrooms. Actual end payment ~$4300. Bathroom 1: The vanity was supposed to be covered before demo. It wasn’t, resulting in nicks to the vanity. One baseboard was damaged during demo. The installer never told me and glued it back together with grout. The tile installed was supposed to be a subway tile with a decorative tile going up the middle. The install was so quick (one day) that I didn’t have a chance to even see the backer board that was installed (and lack of water proofing), nor did I get to see the shower before the floors were done (and of course I couldn’t walk on the floors that were just laid). The subway tile ended up being two completely different colors on one side of the shower. Instead of seeing this and automatically correcting the error. Albert tried convincing me that this color difference was “a slight variation” and I should have expected this multicolor ceramic tile. When fixing the discolored tile, they only replaced the most noticeable pieces, rather than replacing every discolored tile. Additionally, in the process of replacing the few tiles, they cracked another tile and chipped another. Did they replace the damage you ask? NOPE. They left it there. Then, when I pointed it out, Albert claimed he couldn’t see it. This was the same response when I pointed out that there were holes in the grout. The grout was also heavily discolored in some areas, as if it was mixed with something tainting the color. Albert’s excuse is that it needed to cure, except all the other areas already cured. NOT fixed: discolored tile, damaged tile, discolored grout. Bathroom 2 (The Master): Demo done. Lots of arguments about the shower and tub tile because they couldn’t do what I originally wanted and they said “the substitute tile was too much work”. When the substitute tile was finally cut, it literally took about 5-10 minutes to cut the pieces. To my surprise (because Albert argued with me so much the first time and acted like I was putting them out and being ridiculous for asking them to switch the mismatched tile out), Albert returned the rest of the tile to the manufacturer because of the problems with the discoloration. The new tile gave me more time to look at what was really going on in my house. After sending pictures of the start of the install in the master to my uncle, who is a professional installer in Ohio, he pointed out that Albert and his installer were installing the tile in the shower WITHOUT ANY WATER PROORFING! Professionals should know that water proofing HAS to be installed in all showers. This is because grout is porous and WILL seep back into the walls causing mold and damage to the structure of your home. Simply google it people. WATER PROORFING SHOULD BE PART OF ANY SHOWER INSTALL. This means that the other shower was also installed without water proofing. Albert’s numerous responses: “You don’t need water proofing”, “I refuse to rip out and re install what was done wrong”, “The tile adhesive is water proof”, “You can’t use red guard with the tile adhesive” "Your builder did it this way". RESULTS: Both showers now have to be demoed AGAIN so that water proofing can be added. Therefore, all Albert did for me was the floor tile demo, install, and grouting in one bathroom and the floor tile demo and install (no grout) in the second bathroom, along with backer board around the tub in the master. For this, Albert was trying to charge me almost of the full price of the install, which he quoted at $6847. I ended up settling for 4300, which is way more than what is actually usable. Lie after lie after lie after lie. This guy REFUSED to take responsibility for his errors. The ONLY time he decided to do what was right was after I fired him and threatened to pursue the matter further legally. After all of the problems and having to constantly fight to get him to do the job the right way, I decided it was best to part ways rather than let this guy continue to touch anything else in my house. Too bad I can't add pictures to this review....

What a terrific service. Albert was very responsive to my initial contact. We made an appointment and he spent a lot of time with us looking at different options and making sure we had a very informed choice. He worked closely to help us pick something that satisfied our needs. He came to the house and carefully measured. His team came later that week and did a perfect job. I don't say that lightly, I really couldn't be more satisfied. They were fast, responsive, and collaborative. The price was explained clearly and was very fair. I would hire anytime and recommend Albert to a close friend or family member. I will also definitely hire them again if I need any floor work done.

Albert was great! He gave me all the help and assistance I needed to know what to look for at his store, but then he left me to make my own decisions without trying to push anything on my that I didn't want. He brought samples to my home, and then scheduled installation for the next day. The workers who did the installation worked quickly and efficiently, left my home spotless, and did a great job.

We went to Floors Galore to chose a new wooden floor for the apartment. the work done by them consisted on having old carpet removed from two bedrooms and closets and old wood flooring removed from entrance, study, dining and living. They provide us with a quote and estimated time for the job. Once the new wood arrived at the shop, they started with the job. They were very fast and were done within the time frame that they promised. I also paid exactly what I had been quoted - there were no additional costs. The new floor looks great.

They finished the job in 2-1/2 days and did an excellent job!

Albert was fair in his pricing and prompt with his responsiveness. His guys did a great job installing in record time and even came back to finish the installation after the Easter weekend. I would hire them again in an instant.

The carpet order was a little late coming in but this fact was communicated to us. However, the installers did a great job. They moved the furniture with little mishap and were very quick. We'll see how the carpet wears but at this point, I feel like we got good value for the money.

I called maybe 20 providers who found reasons not to do it, until Mr. Halfon asked to send him a picture of the misplaced tiles. We agree fast on the phone and one of his men came to my house after only 2 days to do the work. He was efficient and very hard working. He even agree to go and buy grout to perfectly match the original colour. My floor looks perfect. In general, dealing with this company was very easy, faster than I expected and reasonable priced.

Install was smooth.  Floors look great. Price was competitive.  Job completion from start to finish was faster that than I was quoted by other contractors for the same work. Faster job completion saved me a considerable amount since I was staying in a hotel due to the size of the job and the location of the floors in the house. My hotel bill was about 30 percent less than I estimated with the other bidders. Overall very satisfied.

This is an excellent store and service provider.  The selection was great and the price was even better.  I thought it would be more expensive to replace my laminate flooring that was destroyed in the April flooding but the tile was the same price and looks even better.  I was extremely happy with the immediate installation.  Outstanding all the way around!
