I was devastated as a flood victim of Hurricane Harvey and by a horrible experience with a contractor who had taken me for a ride for more than 9 months. I found Eric and two other contractors from Angie’s List when this contractor continued to miss his project deadlines and delivered the service with poor workmanship. Eric was the first to respond to my request for a quote and gave me a fair price with an estimate to complete the project within two or three months. Being hurt financially and emotionally by my last contractor, I was very careful with my budget and in dealing with contractors. I reviewed every detail of Eric’s estimate and questioned some of his work /recommendations. Eric had a good attitude and told me that he understood where I came from as he had other customers with the same situation. He tried to explain things in ways that I could understand and assured me that he had my back to put me at ease. I was skeptical at first about his assurance. As the project progressed, Eric convinced me bit by bit that he is an experienced, trust-worthy person with compassion and integrity. A lot of work performed by my last contractor had to be redone, including the kitchen cabinets, fireplace, and all the work in the master bathroom (shower, tub, cabinets, tiles, etc.). Eric gave me advice on what should or should not be reworked to maintain my budget. He showed me why demolishing the master shower built by my last contractor was a wise decision – not only because of the poor workmanship that I could see but also because of the structural issues that I couldn’t see. If I had kept the shower, I would have encountered mold and drainage issues very soon. When Eric saw other issues along the way, he always brought them to my attention, provided his recommendations, and let me decide whether or not to proceed. Having seen all the quality issues identified by Eric, I made a decision to expand the project scope to redo all the work completed by my last contractor in the upstairs bathroom and vanity rooms. Eric prides himself on providing quality services and exceeding customers’ expectations. I told him that he just needed to meet mine because I am a person with high expectations and a keen eye for detail. He, however, wanted to exceed my expectations. When his subcontractors caused some issues during the project, Eric took the responsibility wholeheartedly, even though he had to give up some of his family time on Christmas Eve or pay another subcontractor at his own expense to address the issues. When I pointed out some cosmetic issues with the paint job, he did not hesitate to address my concern, no matter how minor the issues were. Eric completed the job (with the expanded scope) in 3 months with great workmanship. I am very pleased with the outcome. Eric is the person who will do what he promises. He has not only exceeded my expectation but also earned my respect and trust."

"They came a little early which is fine I didn t have to wait through the two hour window Sean and his helper fixed the problem with loose fixtures on my new tub from a previous job from last week and then I asked them to fix the broken drain on one of the master sinks -it would not hold water they replaced it with brand new plumbing and also fixed a week showerhead in the master shower. Very Professional very respectful and very good work at a decent price I m very happy as always that they came through for me no charge of course on a previous problem and did a great job on additional services. "Getting a walk in tub is expensive no matter who you use. My experience thus far is with installation only and I must say my install went great. It has been over a month and no issues with my tub so I cannot comment on repair process with American Standard."
