"Omar came out on time. He weeded the flower beds and he trimmed all the bushes. It looked great. We hired him to come once a month to take care of our plants and the flower beds."

"These two do everything (English speaking husband/wife team) awesomely. Great mowing of the yard, trimming and weeding.. My sprinklers had a leak and they fixed all that up. There are bushes and flowers that they will plant, painting of the garage door and front door and replace a gate. They also do Christmas Lights! They are friendly, do great work and are affordable. My wife and I refer them highly. Please give them a call. You will not be disappointed!"

"I recently hired my landscaper for a full landscape refresh at my Houston home, and the results were outstanding. The team delivered exceptional workmanship, clear communication, and reliable scheduling from start to finish. They understood the unique challenges of Houston’s climate and recommended smart, durable solutions that immediately elevated the curb appeal of my property. Their attention to detail was evident in every phase — grading, planting, mulch installation, and irrigation adjustments were all completed with precision and care. The crew was professional, respectful of the property, and kept the site clean throughout the project. Pricing was transparent, and the quality of work exceeded expectations. I highly recommend this landscaper to any Houston homeowner looking for dependable service, strong technical expertise, and beautiful results. A truly five‑star experience."

Weed Services questions, answered by experts

It’s not legal to intentionally damage a neighbor’s tree. Even if the roots of a tree encroach into your yard, if you damage or kill a tree that belongs to your neighbor, you can be held liable for the damage in most cases. Since herbicides can spread through the tree, causing damage to the whole tree and not just the roots that are on your side of the property line, you shouldn’t poison your neighbor’s tree. The other downside to this method is that if the tree dies, it can fall onto your property and cause more damage, so herbicides are best avoided in this circumstance.

Mowing a lawn will, unfortunately, not get rid of clover, and it may even encourage it to flourish. Let your lawn grow to a healthy height of over 3 inches and then set your mower blades no lower than this level. Higher grass will cut out the light that clover loves and discourage it from spreading.

Glyphosate and other non-selective herbicides can kill orchard grass, but they will also kill the surrounding plants. Also, not all areas allow the use of glyphosate due to its environmental impact—which the EPA describes as a "potential risk to terrestrial and aquatic plants and birds, and low toxicity to honeybees." Consider mechanical removal to target the plants specifically.

The main problem with crabgrass is that it produces thousands of seeds that can remain dormant until the following season. To get rid of it, you have to remove existing plants before they have a chance to spread seeds and stop old seeds from germinating.

The best time to hire a weed service company is in the early spring. This allows them to apply a pre-emergent weed killer that stops weeds from taking root, making maintenance for the rest of the season much easier. Following the initial spring application, a monthly service through the summer and early fall is a good idea for ongoing weed control. These regular treatments, combined with manual removal or spot treatment, should be sufficient to maintain a weed-free yard. Alternatively, you can hire a professional in the fall for the following year, as some companies may offer better rates on contracts signed before the busy spring season.
