"They replaces the windows on my entire house (47 windows). I could not recommend Woody's Windows enough! They were on time, cleaned up every day after they were done to the point that it may have been cleaner after they left then when they started. Very professional and courteous. If I had more windows to replace I would use them. First company I have used that measured the windows correctly so I do not have extra framing around the windows. Great experience start to finish."

"I called ARC glass when we had a broken window on Fathers Day weekend. Most technicians had gone home already so Brian, the owner of the company, came out to fix our window. Great quality work and super friendly and concientious service, and just in time for a big storm to come through."

"Excellent workmanship and products I have had three installations with Power in the past two years. I first used them for a new roof and gutters. The workers were all knowledgeable in their area of work. Clean up was good although some nails kept showing up over time. Next I had the 2nd floor windows and some 1st floor windows replaced, 9 in total. Installation went well and they cleaned up beautifully afterwards. I love the windows! They are a beautiful and energy efficient product. Lastly, I recently had a bay window replaced in my kitchen with the same type window. The workers ere all friendly and explained what would be done. The area was draped with plastic to cut down on dust. Clean up was excellent inside and outside! The window is beautiful and the framing on the outside of the window matches the other windows and the small roof above the bay window was replaced with the same roofing as the rest of the house. I would choose them again for any future projects."

"We cannot say enough about Mr Lopez himself, and his quality of work. He is kind and considerate, replies quickly to phone calls and text and goes above and beyond what others do. He is EXTREMELY knowledgeable. We had him repair and get 2 windows ready for install at a later date. The windows were clear glass, diamond shape solder windows from my parents house, making them sentimental. They had several broken panes, they were originally exterior windows for their house built in 1967. Mr Lopez and his crew have them looking like new and ready to install in a new home. They look amazing! He kept us informed along the way and called when questions arose. He also cleaned up and repaired a very old square window, replacing broken panes and prepping it for us to use as an interior window. This one also looks amazing! I cannot say enough good things about Mr Lopez, his work ethic and quality of work are unmatched. He takes great pride and care in his craftsmanship. Before and After Photos"

Windows questions, answered by experts

When your double-hung window upper sash keeps falling down, it means you could be letting out warm air in the winter or cool air from the AC in the summer. That means your HVAC system works harder to warm or cool the house, costing you extra on electric bills.

If the lower sash continues to fall down, it means when you’ve popped open the window for fresh air, it could slam shut. In addition to being inconvenient, this could be dangerous if you have small kids, children, or pets that like to hang out by the window.

Impact windows are absolutely worth the money if you live in an area prone to hurricanes. Though expensive, impact windows are built to withstand hurricane winds up to 200 mph and theoretically won’t break even if flying debris, such as mailboxes and lawn chairs, is smacked against the glass. A single broken window during a hurricane can destabilize the pressure inside your home, which can cause walls and the roof to collapse.

Yes, you can fix windows without replacing them. However, this will depend on the severity of the issue and what your needs are. Minor water damage, broken glass, damaged casing, and worn caulking are usually easy repairs. But if there is excessive damage, the windows are constantly foggy, or the windows are very old, it’s best to consider replacing them. Replacement windows cost between $575 and $1,475 per window, or an average of $850 per window.

Consider energy performance ratings, durability, aesthetics, and ease of maintenance when selecting windows for different environments.

Depending on size, material, and labor, two windows can cost between $600 and $1,600.
