"Please read fully to understand the issue and service provided. T Rock team is honest and truly "Customer Relation" focused. A recent visit to my home by Bob Nankervis @ T Rock Roofing made me understood their business values are driven by: Customer Relation/Focus -Be honest, reliable and establish sustainable relation with customer -Do not oversell-> Fix what really need to be fixed- nothing more. As a new home owner this worked very well solving a recent roof issue at my home at DFW area in which Roof Mount Attic Cover blew off due to strong winds. I was checking about this to my neighbors and was cautioned to fix it ASAP and I started working with roofing company's to get an assessment; 1]Linear Roofing Conveyed that there is roof damage and resultant leak due to recent hail in the area and asked to fail a insurance claim and work with them for whole roof replacement. I personally checked the roof to the best of my ability and did not see striking signs/ indication to convince me that roof is ready to be replaced, but I am not an expert to conclude that, so I was still with more questions and concerns. 2]Dwell Roofing and Exteriors Provided an estimate of $450 to replace the roof mount unit with free addons like seal, paint screws, but confirmed there is no Roof Damage / Leak to be worried about. They conveyed Roof Mount unit part will cost $250 and reusing the old vent cover may not be the best idea, but If I decide to do it they can fix it for $425. So a overall diff of $25 replacing the "whole unit" versus reusing the "old cover". Honestly, I didn't not understand the math. At this time I was still concerned about who's word should I go with, so checked with T Rock as suggested my friend; 3]T Rock Roofing Bob Nankervis from T Rock Roofing inspected my roof and conveyed that there is NO roof damage due to hail/wind and reused the old vent cover and fixed everything free of charge. What I was impressed is not free of charge, but his politeness in explaining my roof condition-> what may be the reason for existing some wear and tear and more importantly the care he showed towards the customer. I was convinced and was truly ready to pay $$$'s and checked with him about service charge- but he refused conveying that he just have to tighten few bolts and simply cannot charge for that. At this point, I knew who should I call/recommend next time when there is a roof issue."

"Legends Roofing did an outstanding job on my new roof and I couldn’t be happier. They stayed in-line with my insurance company and kept me informed during the entire process. They got me on the schedule the next week and completed the job in a day and a half on a 3000 square foot home. Austin and the crew were always professional and courteous. Highly recommend this company and give them an exceptional 5 stars!!! Well done!!!"

"The owner, Kurt, goes above and beyond. It was time for a new roof as well as other property upkeep needs. His team installed the high quality certified roof and new gutters with leaf protection in half a day that got us a great additional discount on the HO insurance. The team did a great job cleaning up too. Kurt also hooked us up with a house painter and fence repair - both with very reasonable quotes. He's very friendly, honest and professional and answers all the questions thoroughly. This is the roofing company you want to work with!"

Roofing questions, answered by experts

As a new homeowner in Plano, begin with a professional roof inspection to assess for storm damage or aging materials. Check the condition of your gutters and downspouts to ensure proper drainage, and evaluate attic insulation and ventilation to handle extreme temperatures. Trimming overhanging branches and upgrading to impact-resistant shingles can help prevent future roof damage and extend the lifespan of your roof.

Helpful?

Completing roofing projects in Plano enhances livability by improving energy efficiency, reducing drafts, and maintaining consistent indoor temperatures during hot summers. A well-installed roof with proper attic ventilation helps prevent moisture buildup and mold, while also reducing outside noise from storms. These upgrades not only make your home more comfortable but also support better air quality and long-term structural integrity.

Helpful?

In Plano, signs that previous roofing work may need to be redone include uneven shingle lines, persistent leaks after storms, or visible sagging in certain roof areas. Watch for missing or cracked shingles, loose flashing, and granule buildup in gutters—these can point to storm damage or poor roof installation. If you notice daylight in your attic or water stains on ceilings, schedule a roof inspection promptly.

Helpful?

After roofing work in Plano, take clear photos of the finished roof for warranty and insurance documentation. Register any warranties and clear gutters of leftover debris. Schedule annual roof inspections, especially before storm season, and periodically check attic ventilation. After major weather events, inspect for new storm damage. Keeping detailed records and maintaining contact with trusted local contractors ensures prompt attention to future roofing needs.

Helpful?

In TX, completing roofing projects provides immediate benefits like improved protection from severe weather and reduced risk of leaks. Over time, investing in roof replacement or upgrades with durable materials increases your home’s lifespan and minimizes emergency repairs. Enhanced insulation and ventilation can lower energy usage, while a well-maintained roof helps preserve curb appeal and supports higher property values in the long run.
