"If you need window treatments of any kind, Blinded by Delight is the business to contact. I used the description of "business" but they really treat you like family. We had a difficult corner in our Master Bedroom with strange spacing, etc. Erica was incredible in coming to a solution and we couldn't be happier with her, her service, the installer, and the company as a whole. I used to sew my own curtains but this area was too complex to wrap my head around, so I called the experts, referred to me by a friend who too had an amazing experience. "They leveled my house in 2018. It was OK for about 5 years when the house started cracking up again. First let me say that they no longer answer the phones consistently. They wait days to return a call. The lady I eventually talked to made it clear that my warranty was useless but did agree to send someone over to look at it. They called a plumber for me who did a test and found several sewer line leaks, which voided the warranty. The plumbers excavated and fixed the leaks for $16,000. After begging for a quote to re-level for months, Christopher finally blessed me with a quote for $13,350. Considering I paid $27,951.72 in 2018, and the excavation work was already done by the plumbers, I decided that I could not justify spending that much more, for a total of $57,300 on my foundation with no warranty, so now I live in a permanently cracked and crooked house."

When you’re hiring a concrete contractor, ask as many questions up front as possible. Here are a few questions to ask a prospective concrete contractor:

  • Do you use stone or sand for base material?

  • How thick do you usually pour concrete?

  • How many years of experience do you have?

  • Do you have worker’s compensation?

Many certified or licensed companies use laborers to perform the work, so the quality of the work depends on the company's standards. Being certified and verified by Angi holds more value than simply having a licensed and bonded status. A company highly rated by Angi is often more reliable and valuable.
