After two weeks now the Palmetto St. Augustine seems to be taking good root into the loam layer. Hopefully will be quite a bit more shade tolerant than the builder grade grass that slowly died out."

However, it wasn't in great shape, so we had to shift gears and do a concrete overlay that was then stained and sealed.
