"I was first contacted by this gentleman to find and fix a "major leak" within his irrigation system. He lives in a gated neighborhood and what he does not realize is that I work for several other people within it as well, and that is how I gained access to his address upon our first scheduled visit; nobody answered the door. I was however still able to inspect, find, and fix the "leak" while I was there. The problem was actually just that somehow one of the valves to a zone had been manually turned to "on", so when the system would start up that zone would continue to run simultaneously with the others as they ran through their cycles. The problem was solved while avoiding expensive unnecessary expenses. We next spoke on the phone the following day, I informed him of what I had discovered and done. We then set another appointment as to look at some other jobs he wanted pricing for since we missed each other my first visit. I at my second visit only charged him a modest $100 for the service call and work preformed previously, as well as, the inspection of the entire system and identification of a broken head upon the second visit to the property. A couple of days later he calls me with a really bad attitude saying things like, "Summer is almost over!". This was after I had originally told him it would take me at least a week to get the numbers together for him. I will admit, after that I withheld the prepared bid due to apprehensions that I had for potentially acquiring a client with such an unreasonable attitude and expectations. Then to write a review like that? Note: the reason I was called and paid for, the leak, was indeed fixed We truly do pride ourselves most on being honest, fair, and hard working."
"Thank you so much! It was a pleasure working with you and getting your yard up to par (lives on a golf course). I really enjoyed working in the 80+ year oak tree. Thanks for the review, it made my weekend!"
"As to defend myself from this review: - No monies were ever given nor exchanged - We had meet for several personal consultations and excluding her rather extreme reservations about the desired look of the project everything seemed fine - I had offered to incorporate some provided plant materials, uninstalled, from her builders landscaper for Free into my design as to help her with the plant budget. Even went as far as to take the time to place all of them for her. - Upon me calling to reschedule a requested fourth visit to her home, was told not to worry about the project anymore. I was very surprised. I believe that the expense of a entirely new landscape was the main issue here. And my calling to reschedule was her "out". So a month goes by, she never hires anyone else, the plants that I had placed and was going to install for free, died from thirst. So in attempts of feeling better gives me straight F's and a poorly written poor review. Well over a month. If you have or do ever meet me you'll know that this is not a review that is representational of me or my company at all. I would not have an A+ BBB Rating nor be rated so highly on Angieslist if it were."
