"After checking out our back yard fence, Mason emailed an estimate within a couple of days. His price was better than a couple of other companies. It was another 4 weeks before they could get to it, but it was worth the wait. They replaced 4 rotting posts with treated pine, and put up 56 ft. of 6 ft. high x 6-inch western red cedar pickets with treated pine 2 x 4 rails. They used weather coated screws rather than nails. The guys did a really nice job and finished the job in one day. Mason and his guys were easy to deal with, and Mason gave me a follow up call a couple of days after the job was done."
"Jarred and his Timberline team are tops. Very polite and professional and willing to achieve their customer’s landscaping needs. I would be happy to work with them in the future."

"We have hired John to pour a concrete driveway, it was smooth as can be from start to finish. The permitting, approach permits, drawings and inspections from the city of Austin that were required were completed as promised. John has been a breeze to work with and we will continue to use his services for years to come."

"Luis and Oscar came out, inspected my five trees, informed me what they would do, including informing me one of the trees I thought might be dying, appeared to be good, and proceeded to give me a quote on the price to trim the five trees. After getting quotes from several others and reading reviews for all, I hired Prados. Luis, Mario and team came out as scheduled and I am very satisfied with their work, communication and price, which was very reasonable. I would hire them again and recommend them"

Yes, weeds can still grow in decomposed granite. If properly compacted, it can act as a good weed suppressant, meaning you’ll only pull weeds occasionally. But no ground cover is completely weed-proof. To further prevent weeds, you can try spraying your decomposed granite with distilled white vinegar.
Landscape design can be a simple service that includes a drawing or visual representation of how your yard can be set up and optimized for your intended purposes. But it can also include all of the manual labor to make your vision a reality. When you speak with your landscape designer, ensure everyone understands the specific services you want.
Some add-on services may include the following:
Sourcing and delivery of raw materials
Professional installation of features, including pergolas, decks, and pathways
Drainage system design
Recommendations for specific plants and trees
Landscaping prices are sometimes negotiable, but it depends on the professional with whom you’re working. In most cases, you’ll have a better chance of negotiating prices down the more work you have done. Your pro might be willing to discount labor if they’re guaranteed a large job. You can also ask your landscaper to recommend more affordable materials that will still bring your vision to life to save.
It is possible to DIY complete hardscaping projects, but in most cases, hiring a professional is best to get the job done correctly. Hardscaping—including installing patios, decks, retaining walls, walkways, and water features—is challenging and time-consuming, so the money you spend on a professional is typically worth it. Not only will the quality be better, but you could avoid problems that come along with a lack of hardscaping experience, like drainage issues that can lead to costly foundation damage and leaks in your home.
The most important thing to put under a rock garden is the appropriate soil. The specific soil needed will depend on the type of plants you’re growing as well as the environment you live in. You can also put non-woven or woven fabric under the rocks to add to the garden's structural stability.
