Pictured is my formal dining room which he converted into a bedroom & secondly he expanded my pantry & built a linen closet. He did everything from demo, framing, sheetrock, mud, texture, paint, trim & installed doors. Heâ s also done a lot of drywall repairs for me. He does a good job with prep & cleanup.Iâ ve had quite a bit of work done around my house & Santiago is by far my favorite contractor Iâ ve hired. Heâ s always on time, professional, patient & kind. "They collected almost $8,000, but they`re still not finished. I`m waiting for them to install the patio cover and weld the back gate after they repair the door, which they haven`t done yet. They never return my calls or texts. Their service is lousy. The door repair was a halfway job; they told me they`d replace it if they couldn`t repair it, but their repair wasn`t thorough, and my carpet got wet. The exterior fascia work is also only halfway done. They claimed they would smooth out the area around and under the fascia before painting, but they missed parts. They were supposed to reattach my gate after finishing the door and patio cover, but I can`t even get them to come out for the patio cover. "

The team did a great job in removing all of the rotted/damaged wood and rebuilding the shower, making it a little larger, leak free, installing a light, a grab bar, and finishing it off with some nice new ceramic tile. What had been an unfortunate unknown issue before we purchased the home turned into a much nicer and brighter walk in shower."

You can drywall over plaster, but there are some things to consider. First, installing drywall over plaster will increase the wall’s thickness. This could create challenges for window and door frames that no longer fit the wall’s thickness. You may also have to adjust power outlets so they are accessible. When done right, drywall can create a smooth, flat appearance, but it’s best when handled by professionals.

Drywall installation costs around $2,000 on average, but some projects cost as low as $400, while larger or more complicated installations can cost $6,000 or more. Keep in mind that you will need permits if you plan to install new electrical wiring or plumbing lines behind your new drywall.
