"We had a great experience with this drywall repair company. The owner, Trent, and Alan were both extremely professional and took the time to explain the entire process and what to expect. What really stood out was how much care they took to protect our home—they covered everything to keep the space clean while they worked. The finished result was incredible. You honestly can’t tell there was ever any damage there in the first place. The wall looks completely seamless, like the repair never even happened. I would highly recommend them to anyone needing drywall work."

"Jude is incredibly professional and polite. He explained what was needed to fix the sheet rock on the garage ceiling and walls in great detail. He was very thorough and didn't mind when I asked him to also take down all of my personal belongings from the attic since I am afraid of heights plus my health doesn't allow me to do high manual labor. He was more than willing so I asked him to quote me a price since I knew it was a lot. The cost of everything was very reasonable. He put tarps over some of my personal things in the garage to protect them and cleaned up all of the mess. I am very impressed with his work and will definitely hire him in the future. I highly recommend Jude!"

"Santiago and his crew did an excellent job. They replaced the drywall in my garage, did the tape and mud, and orange peel texture. I am very satisfied with the end result. Highly recommended"

"Henry sprayed acoustic/painted bedroom ceiling, hallway and bathroom. He also sprayed 3 bedroom doors. I was home while he worked and would come ask for my inspection each step of the way to ensure I was 100% satisfied. He was punctual, thorough, and completely cleaned up when he was done. Henry was there to do this small job none of the bigger drywall/paint companies were interested. It's fair to say his work is as good if not better than previous paint/drywall work I've had done in the past by "specialists". Without a doubt I'll use his services again in the future."

"We had him come out for a quote to level out the backyard so that rainwater isnâ t running towards the house and flooding the back door. He discussed that along with other options that we have to help with the issue."

"I couldn’t be more satisfied with the TV mounting service. From start to finish, the experience was professional, efficient, and stress-free. Jovani A. Lara arrived on time, came fully prepared, and took the time to ensure the TV was mounted securely, perfectly leveled, and positioned exactly where I wanted it. Jovani and Jose were very knowledgeable, explained everything clearly, and even offered helpful suggestions for the best viewing angle and cable management. The work area was kept clean, and everything was done with great attention to detail. My TV looks amazing and feels extremely secure. If you’re looking for high-quality, reliable TV mounting done right the first time, I highly recommend this service with Jovani and his team! Truly excellent work!"

Drywall questions, answered by experts

Certain drywall textures, like sand and sometimes popcorn, can be smoothed by applying skim coats, sanding the walls, or chipping away the texture. However, it’s worth considering removing the texture and starting with a blank canvas. Smoothing textured walls requires a lot of sandpaper and elbow grease and can take longer than just outright removing the texture.

Vinegar and bleach are effective options for removing mold from drywall. Vinegar is a better choice if you have a smaller mold issue while bleach is best if you have a larger mold problem. If the area you're cleaning has limited ventilation, using vinegar would be a better option. In that case, you could mix vinegar with baking soda to remove more stubborn mold growth.

A utility knife is sharp enough to score the drywall and it may work in a pinch for outlet box holes. However, one of the best tools for drywall when you need to make exact cuts for an outlet box quickly is a drywall saw. This handheld tool has a longer blade than a utility knife, so it penetrates the thickness of the drywall easily. The design of its handle and the teeth in its blade make it easier to control while cutting quicker than you can with a utility knife.

Yes, you can speed up the time it takes for plaster to dry, but it's important to do so carefully to avoid issues like cracking or crumbling. Proper ventilation is key; open a window or use a fan to circulate air in the room. Heat can also accelerate drying, but be cautious, as too much heat can cause the plaster to dry too quickly and crack. Check the plaster's packaging for the recommended drying temperature and set the room's thermostat accordingly. While managing humidity is important, avoid using a dehumidifier, which can remove moisture too aggressively and result in crumbly plaster.

Pros ensure smooth finishes and lasting repairs, avoiding visible patches.
