Perfect! As usual!!!  I've used Van Ness Heating & Air since 2011 and always been super satisfied.  I trust Michael Van Ness and that goes a long way - he's the first and last HVAC contractor to call!

Michael came the same day I called because he had an opening. He was very nice and installed my Nest thermostat with no problems. I had to call an A/C person to install the thermostat because of strange wiring in my system. I figured "oh god some guy is going to come in here and tell me I have to spend 748291739 dollars on my system because of yada yada" but Michael didn't try to sell anything. He diagnosed what the problem in the wiring was and quickly fixed it. He then checked my system for any problems and told me my system is running totally fine. This is new to me! I would highly recommend calling him, you won't regret it!

Van Ness was prompt, friendly, and very professional.  He called 30 minutes in advance and arrived on time.  I was provided an estimate, and when he came back with the part, the repair was completed timely and he was thorough at making sure everything was working properly before he left.  I will definitely use again and would highly recommend Van Ness.

I am an out-of-stat landlord and finally found my a/c guy!  Michael Van Ness promptly assessed the situation and called me with options. He scheduled the installation at the tenant's convenience. (Unlike the first compay I called who filled the unti with freon for $378 without checking with me, and then tried to sell me a new air handler for $300 more than Van Ness' quote.)  After the job was done Van Ness immediately sent the warranty. I didn't feel Michael was trying to upsell, and he gave me time to research and make a decision that was right for me. I found them on Angie's list and used the coupon for further savings.

I was very pleased with the service that was provided by Van Ness.  My system was down and I was able to get an appointment set up quickly.  Michael was punctual and performed the work in a timely manner.  You can tell he goes the extra mile to make sure things are done right.  He was very courteous and professional, explaining things well and the cost was reasonable.  I would definitely use him again in the future and recommend Van Ness to all my family and friends.

I will only use them for heating and air from here on out. He went above and beyond what I thought I would receive. He is the kind of person I want to work with. He gave me tips and showed me how to change the air filter.

The service was scheduled and completed on the same day without any complications.

Mike did a great job explaining everything and was extremely professional and very courteous. He and his team were on time for the appointment and worked diligently to install the new equipment. It was obvious that he really takes great pride in his work and puts in that little extra effort to make sure everything is done right. They installed one additional return vent and Mike explained clearly why he was recommending it. Everything is working great and I have a 10 year parts and labor warranty. Could not be happier. Would definitely recommend Van Ness Heating & Air and will be using them in the future for any work.

Mike was recommended to us by our Home Energy specialist and the experience was excellent. Mike is very professional and personable. The work was completed on time, with all the required city permits and inspections, and on budget. A small incident occurred when one of Mike's HVAC duct subcontractors stepped through our dining room drywall ceiling. However Mike was very apologetic and quick on bringing a drywall subcontractor that patched and matched the texture of the ceiling without charging us a dime or delaying the overall work. I will definitely recommend Mike Van Ness to my family and friends.
