Neither the transmission nor the differential were serviced. On 10/23/14, the pipe used to connect the catalytic converter failed in the mountains in New Mexico. I had to drive for over an hour to get back to the small town I was staying in; the following morning, I had to drive for another hour to a shop in Santa Fe for repairs. What should have been a simple repair (replacing the broken pipe) was complicated because incorrect bolts had been used in the exhaust flange; bolts had to be tapped out and replaced, along with removing the broken pipe and welding a new one in place. The repair took the better part of the day, costing me a day's work and making it necessary to juggle my hotel reservations and travel plans. It was also noted that the u-joints were about to fall out of my truck - it would have been great to lose a drive-train on some mountain road....or a highway. When I returned to Texas, I contacted Bill Cabaj, Allstate owner, on 10/30/14. I explained the problem with the pipe/bolts and texted him pictures of the failed/incorrect parts and of the completed repair. I also mentioned that his shop had failed to service my transmission & differential, and that two other drive belts and the u-joints had to be replaced in Santa Fe - money that his shop could have collected had they thoroughly examined my truck as requested. I asked for a refund of the pipe repair only - $189.95. Bill stated that they subcontract exhaust work and he would have to talk to his subcontractor. I waited until 11/5/14 and did not hear from Allstate; I called and left a message for Bill - my call was not returned. On 11/10/14 I called again, left a message inquiring whether any action would be taken regarding a refund and asked for a call back. I have not been contacted. I can only conclude that my <$200.00 repair expense due to a faulty part/repair is less important to Allstate than my >$2000.00 initial repair was. VERY DISAPPOINTING EXPERIENCE.
11/20/14 Bill called and we discussed; he had contacted the subcontractor and expressed concern that the converter might have been affected by the high altitude (mountains) and said he would like to take a look at it to make sure it is ok. He also stated that he would mail a check to refund my out-of-pocket repair in New Mexico. I stated that I've had no problems with the truck since the New Mexico repair and we concluded the converter is probably ok and doesn't need to be checked at this time.
On 12/1/14 I called to check the status of the reimbursement; Bill said the check would be mailed that day.
On 12/3/14 I received a check for $190.00. I appreciate the reimbursement and the concern for proper operation of the converter.

In May 2014, my family and I were away from home camping in our new travel trailer. Upon arrival, realizing immediately after hooking up the water supply, we had water pouring from under the kitchen sink.
Having this leak required us to shut off the water supply to our camper. With a family having 2 children this was especially a great inconvenience. Not being able rectify this issue ourselves, we called a local RV store, McFadden's RV in Emory, TX.
(a store we had visited in the past for various camp items and lighting fixtures)
Our call was answered by a polite service tech who seemed genuinely concerned and knowledgeable as to the situation I had explained and scheduled an appointment on the day of the call, something of which I was very grateful for.
I had great appreciation for his prompt arrival and was completely satisfied by the service received. The tech was extremely polite, respectful, clean and well dressed - no bad attitude or language was used and the knowledge and assistance pertaining to the repair of the leak was most helpful. He listened to understand, was sympathetic and offered helpful advice while not being demeaning or arrogant.
In addition, my water line had blown off under the kitchen sink and not realizing it, a second leak had developed in the bathroom. Had he not been caring, thoughtful and thorough, I would have had further issues and damage to my camper.
He repaired both leaks with confidence and gave me the assurance that I wouldn't have any more problems and I haven't!
The tech was knowledgeable and diligent and his job performance was top notch!
I would highly recommend this company to fellow campers.
You can't beat great people offering great service!

Everything went awesome I called Josh to schedule a estimate because I felt like the other company was trying to charge me to much. Josh came out the next day and was 200.00 dollars cheaper. I even asked him about fixing a leak under my kitchen sink which he did and didn't even charge me to...

The owner, principal, or relevant manager passed a criminal background check
Required to have applicable state and local licenses
Maintain an average star rating of 3.0 or better on our network, if they have at least one review
Paying to advertise their services
Meeting any other eligibility criteria required by Angi
Keep in mind licensing is different from certifications. A license is a legal requirement to operate a business, while certifications are voluntary.

Yes, you should hire a handyman who’s licensed, certified, and insured, if possible. States have different requirements for handyman licensing, registration, and certifications.
