"I hired K2 because I liked their people; because their ideas and thoughts on the remodel furthered my own, and they came with good references. I had them redo my main bathroom from the studs out, and push out a wall to get more room for a walk-in shower (in place of the tub). They built a knee wall for the shower and tiled the floor, the shower and the walls up to chair rail height; installed a new pedestal sink and toilet, and hung three wall cabinets. I am very pleased with the results and impressed with the craftsmanship, especially regarding the tile; I requested a basket weave design for the floor and subway tile for the walls, and they did an excellent job. They did a lot of work in the house but always took pains to clean and pick things up at the end of the day. The reasons I would be ambivalent about hiring them again were poor to middling communications and the length of time it took to complete the work. Regarding communications, there were few check-ins during the project -- unless I initiated them -- and I was often in the dark about what was happening until it was too late to do anything about it. My biggest gripe along this line is that I didn't get the sink I had contracted for. I had chosen one with an especially wide lip and flat bottom for maximum utility, but the one installed was of a different brand, with a curved bottom and a narrower lip. By the time I realized this, the sink had been installed; it's a fine sink, but it was annoying that we hadn't talked beforehand. The toilet had been chosen to match the sink, but that too was different. Regarding the time of the project: When we first discussed the work, they talked about 3 to 4 weeks, perhaps starting in January or February. When I signed on the dotted line, it was 6 to 8 weeks. In the end, the project was launched in April and took a full 13 weeks. I recognize that it's impossible to guarantee a completion date, but my friends thought the project took way too long and in the end I have to say I agree. Much of my frustration came toward the end, when the project was nearly wrapped up but they had neglected to re-install the duct grate and neatly trim out the opening in the drywall. The project manager, a very good guy (I liked all the K2 people on the project, from the salesman to the workers), came to the house twice on the weekends to take care of some last-minute tasks, which I appreciated. But by the end I was terribly anxious to shoo all out of them out of the house, clean things up and get things back in order. Bottom line: K2 does very good work and my experience with them was satisfactory. But they still left some room for improvement, which is why I can't give them five stars all around."

"These guys were fantastic. They are one of the few companies out there that that actually do what they say will do. They send you daily emails around 830 am describing the activities for the day and who will be inside your house. Their communication is great - they always answer emails and texts in a very timely matter. The master bathroom we had remodeled looks great and was done in the time period they indicated at the beginning of the process. Sure, you could probably find someone cheaper and does inferior work, however we wanted it done right the first time. Nic and Sarah and the entire team exceeded our expectations!"

He suggested the wifi lighting connected to my phone, and also without asking he came with detail-oriented little things to match my bathroom decoration to the project. He guided my husband to different places for quality and affordable prices to pick materials. He told me the job would take approximately no more than six and a half weeks and he finished in five! In general, very HONEST from the beginning. He asked me how much was my budget and he helped us to work with it. The final job is OUTSTANDING! and 100% recommendation for him and his whole crew! by the way, now they do my plumbing, and my roofing, and for sure next year they will be hired to remodeling my whole kitchen! "I had a deeply disappointing experience with this company during a recent remodeling project at my parents' home. While some aspects of the work were satisfactory, several significant issues remain unresolved: Poor Quality and Incomplete Work: Many areas were left unfinished or poorly executed, despite multiple walkthroughs and follow-up communications. Unprofessional Behavior: The team brought children to the job site without approval, disrupting the work environment. Lack of Cleanup: Dust and debris were left throughout our home after the work was "completed." Missing Documentation: We’ve repeatedly requested an itemized receipt and proof of worker licenses, but these have not been provided. They turned off our gas on a Friday and refused to come back to turn it on until Monday. We notified them of this on a Friday, and it should have been rectified. Terrible Communication: Emails, texts, and calls have gone unanswered, leaving us frustrated and without resolution. Additionally, we were bullied into signing off on completion of work (by Sapir) with the promise they would return to complete the issues that were pointed out. They never returned or communicated further with us despite reaching out on various occasions. I cannot recommend this company due to their lack of professionalism, poor communication, and failure to meet basic standards of quality and accountability."

I had initially had flooring done by a different contractor that hadn't done a good job but Rich even over the phone told me that he could take care of my problem areas. We made an appointment for him to do his assessment, he gave me the time frame of expected completion which was just a couple of days and was done before that. He even went beyond what he was requested to do to let me know about other services needed at which he could provide.
