DE Flooring has been our go to general contractor for 3 separate projects in the past 15 years. 1st project was to replace all the kitchen countertops/bars & niches’ ledges with a beautiful veined high end granite. 2nd was a shower enlargement and installation gorgeous slab marble to the shower, separate tub surround and double vanity. The scope of the work also included to close up a wall and add an arched built in to our master bedroom. All the work was superior quality, it became even more apparent when after an unpreventable illness this awesome shower had to be replace to accommodate a zero entrance ledge and a wheelchair entry, hence another complete remodel. In the process of this 3rd project remodel it was easy to see behind all the walls and 10 years later not a drop of water had leaked or penetrated the original install. It was so tight it was difficult to take it down. I am confident this second remodel of the bathroom will be just as well done as the first. We also chose to replace the master suite carpeting which gives quite an uplift to the rooms. The owner comes by and double checks on the progress daily, instructs his crews and speaks to us. He never has dismissed our inquiries no matter what adversity could be lurking in his personal life. His subs are all professional, friendly and extremely respectful at all times. This is also a reflection of the leadership. You cannot go wrong by engaging this company to do your construction. If a mistake happens it will be rectified immediately with no argument as well. Mr. Abdoul will personally get it done.

I was very impressed with Abdul and his team. Abdul was responsive to my texts, offering suggestions and treating us with respect. He listened and made suggestions that allowed our project to stay within budget. He treated us like family. The project started as indicated with efficient use of time. Salvador and his team kept the work area very clean. The tile installation was exceptional. The granite installation beautifully showcased the grains as I had requested. Any concerns we had, were addressed and resolved quickly. The staff at the showroom were courteous and helpful. The showroom has an excellent selection and variety. I would highly recommend DE Flooring Granite & Remodeling to anyone looking for experience, competency and quality work. It was a pleasure working with them and I would hire them again.

It did not go well at all. The contractor told us he could fix the sheetrock and baseboards and match the paint.  Well, the fun started in the hall way with the sheetrock and baseboards.  The contract(DE Flooring) told them(Rodriguez and Rodriguez Painting) to replace the sheetrock 2', well they cut the sheetrock 14" up and was installing new sheetrock in this space when my wife told them it needed to be 2' they cut more and added 2' of sheetrock, taped and then painted the sheetrock directly without texturing to match. They came back after me complaining and install some very light texture and repainted(did not match).  This was for the entry hallway, main hallway, and bedroom.  The baseboards on one side of the hall did not match the other side that they did not touch, they said they don't make that size anymore, I told him he can cut these down to get it a little closer and he did.  They stained pine baseboards even though I asked for oak for the living room baseboards. They did not stain the ends of the baseboards after they were cut to length on the quarter rounds, so these are still unstained.  Everyday, I dreaded coming home, just knew something was going to be screwed up or they would not show up to work, they would not show up for days and sometimes a week at a time, eventhough we were promised someone would be here.  When they did do something, it had to be fixed or redone.  The rail over the microwave which was offset by ~12" he had made 3" wide while the others on the same side of the kitchen were 2" wide, had him change it to 2" to match.  My three new large kitchen cabinet doors are different lengths even though they were all supposed to be the same.  Drawers do not close properly.  Stains all over the floor tile and grout and on walls that was freshly painted and had to be repainted.  Nails through the fronts of drawer fronts on an angle and used putty to try and hide.  I can see light through the gap between the front of the drawer and the bottom.  They tried to use pine crown molding against oak cabinets, I would not let them, I had to go out and buy oak crown molding, because they said they don't make oak crown molding, a lot of it came up missing.  I had to re-cut an electrical outlet hole in the dining room paneling due to a screw up of the placement of the outlet, I could not get the outlet to mate to the box.  They did not attach the kitchen cabinets to the walls with anything other than finish nails, I added 3" cabinet screws. Cabinet top rails did not match across from one side of kitchen to the other.  Cabinets have openings on the bottoms and the sides where they meet the walls.  Tear out of wood on most edges of cabinets, had to be covered with molding.  Holes in cabinets for shelves have tear out on most of them.  Bottom of cabinets by range not finished out as promised.  Bottoms of cabinets not finished with lacquer, I had to apply two coats of Lacquer.  Contractor had to bring in a second cabinet maker due to screwups of first and they said first cabinet maker was injured in car accident, supposedly.  The front of the cabinets that the countertop sits on, where dishwasher is in, is farther back on the left side of the cabinet than the right by ~1.5".  Countertop(Stilestone) where two pieces were joined, by range, was not polished completely out. Several shelves had to be cut to fit into cabinets, I had to do this, one is pieced together with three pieces of wood, all held together with finish nails. One door handle was not installed, I had to do it.  The bar countertop which was replaced with silestone was cut to the wrong dimensions and when I confronted them on it the contractor came out at 8:00pm to see it and said it looks good to him and he would have it in his house, I told him NO it will not be left like this, so they completely removed the bar and cut it down by 1.5" to make up for their screwup, they did not leave until after 9:00 pm at which time we still had to get supper.  Had them come back out and level the window seal piece of silestone due to it being .5" difference on right from left over a 3' area. They did not close out around the drain pipe and water lines coming through the wall, eventhough I asked them several times, I had to do it.  I had to fix one of the drawers due to not closing, spent over an hour figuring out and fixing.  The finished cabinet stain has streaks through it in several places.  I had to tell the subcontractor to go get a new door for the pantry when he got the wrong size, he said they don't have the right size and he could make the old one work, I called the store and asked and they had it and he went and got it.  Contractor stopped work due to the subcontractor he sent to install backsplash said he would need additional material and time to complete job due to having to add edging on backsplash as we agreed with contractor.  Contractor was out of country and the worker he had covering for him was told to stop work and do a change order.  We told him this is not a change order that he agreed with us and he said "whatever you want".  I would not agreed to change order, since it was not.  At this time the subcontractor did not return to complete the job or come by to pick up his tools, eventhough I told the contractor on two separate occasions that he left them, so I had to complete the job.  I hired another contractor to complete the backsplash and to stain and finish the framing they added around the window, which they tried to say was a change order also, it was added because of the screw up by the cabinet maker, he did not leave enough room to just add trim around the cabinet, they added framing around window which then added thickness, so the trim could be added for the cabinet, they came up with that all on their own.   I completed installing the dishwasher, range, sink, faucet, drains, water lines and had to clean the floors of all the paint and stain left on the tile and grout in the kitchen but on the walls in the bathroom.  The refinish of the bathroom vanity was done haphazardly, you can look at the front and see they shot the finish on it very very lightly, it is streaked.  When they were applying the kitchen cabinets stain and Lacquer finish, I had to go outside due to the concentration of the chemicals were making me sick.

Time spent to do the job ended up costing me an additional ~5k, due to hiring another contractor to complete the backsplash, stain and finish the window framing.  The additional money comes in with the Insurance company refused to reimburse us for our meals after the date the contractor said he would be completed.  I'm sure i did not identify everything that was screwed up I tried to be as complete as possible, but this has been a nightmare for us.
 
PLEASE DO NOT RECOMMEND THESE PEOPLE if you are expecting a professional job, within budget and want it completed on time.  We are still fixing things in the house which they screwed up and I guess I'm going to have to eat these additional expenses.  The contractor would not come off his price for the additional cost I figured it is costing me, but he did give me a discount of $1,400 for a $25,000 job, not much of a discount considering the misery we have been going through.  He prides himself as being a part of Angie's List and the BBB.

We got excellent service from the moment we walked in the door. We wanted hard wood but the salesman showed us the wood look time and we fell in love with it. I cant comment on the price because i did not get any other estimates. These guys are in the running when we decide to pull the trigger.

I am not sure of the cost of service stated above as it has been a few years, but DE Flooring was much cheaper than the builder we were most unfortunately dealing with at that time. DE Flooring did a really nice job of installing a small wet bar granite counter top.

My wife and I hired DE Flooring Granite Remodeling to install new floors on our home and we are very, very pleased with the work they did for us.
Before moving into our new home in Houston we shopped around for home remodeling contractors in the area.
We were not pleased, most if not all of these companies only did the work, the client was responsible for everything else.
As you can imagine that would have been a monumental task for my wife and I as we were living in Dallas at the time. 
We continued looking for contractors in the Houston area and were blessed to find DE Flooring Granite Remodeling.
The thing that initially impressed me about DE Flooring Granite Remodeling  and the Abdul was his passion for his work. You can tell he loves what he does and it shows in the quality of this work.
DE Flooring Granite Remodeling had materials on site for us to look at, flooring, granite, cabinet hardware, everything!  But there?s more, the customer service was outstanding!  When ever my wife and I had questions I could call Abudl and he would always take time to speak to us about the work being done.  *Note, I had a problem with a contractor, the contractor was rude, worse ever.  I called Abdul about this and he addressed the issue immediately.  Abdul took ownership and stands by his word, which is rare this day and time. He took complete responsibility for the entire job, materials, everything.

The finished product was satisfactory but we had issues getting people here when they said they were going to be here. Also had some issues with tile, we paid extra and there were some issues with it. The carpeting shedded extremely. I brought this to the owner's attention and told my husband that I was a pain in the butt.

Overall we are pleased with the result but it was not without a few issues that required to be managed:
1. They require 50% up front which was not made clear until all the decision making had taken place. Generally the public is warned against any up front payments but without it DR Flooring refused to undertake any work.
2. Scheduling is appalling and they lied as to why the granite installer did not show up on the day agreed, this set the whole project back and we were not contacted.
3. The plumber had an attitude on his first day, leaving the job when refusing to remove a shelf under the new cook top saying that was not in his job description, so the tile guy removed it but the plumber did not come back that day. 
3. The contractors, especially the granite guys had no concern for life in the household, working until 9.00 pm on a Saturday but at least we were done with them so I suppose that was a bonus.
4. No follow up as to whether we were happy with the finished job, no inspection for quality assurance of their sub contractors, no management of schedules.
Final comments are that the finished task is fine thanks to the efforts of the sub contractors and in no way to the management and scheduling skills of DE Flooring, their only skill seems to be in the timely collection of money.

There was an issue that kept them from keeping a scheduled appointment at 10 A.M. They did call and say they would be late between 3 & 4 PM. I called the store at 4 PM they returned the call about 5:30 PM and said they needed to reschedule for Monday at 7:30 AM and they did show up. They were supposed to bring the remnant, and we had to wait about a week. It was a bit of an inconvenience due to this issue. They delivered the remnant eventually. Sales went well, installation seemed to be a disappointment. There was a scratch on counter top after the installation, D.E. Flooring did offer to reimburse some of the cost, but I refused any reimbursement. I was satisfied with the cost of the material and installation I just wanted perfection of the counter top and to keep everything on schedule. I will use them again because I was pleased with Jonathan.

Abdule who owns DE Flooring and Remodeling has all of the vendors that it takes to do a remodeling job.  You are not dealing with every vendor on your own.  DE Flooring makes sure they are there and they are on time - Every vendor they have is great!  Very caring companyj!  I would never use anyone else!  The quality of the work is awesome!  I cannot say enough good things about this company.  You do not want to give the job to anyone else. 

The granite in the bathroom was messed up and they put in our bathtub unleveled. They put in the wrong shower and the cabinets were not right in the bathroom. The cabinets in the kitchen were not put in good and there was no space for the dishwasher. They had cracks in the cabinets; we had issue with the crown molding. We had issue with the plumber and he was horrible and he cut the side if the wall. The electricians put hole where they are not supposed to. The workmanship was shoddy. I would never use them again for anything.

The granite is beautiful and the cost was reasonable. The office staff was wonderful and the installer did a really good job.

After several failed attempts at getting two different granite contractors to even call me back to discuss new kitchen countertops, I found D E Flooring and Granite Remodeling on Angie's List with some great reviews.  I always check the BBB reports, and they were rated A+. 
My husband and I stopped by their design Showroom in League City and spoke with designer Larry Snyder.  He is awesome because he listened to our ideas, made great suggestions to improve the looks of our kitchen, and stayed in touch with us to make sure the work was completed in a timely fashion and to our satisfaction. 
From the day we visited the showroom to the job completion was just a little over a week's time, and we are very pleased with the results.  Fabian showed up on time, he and his co-worker were very professional, and the work done was superb!  We have a very large kitchen with several angles in the countertops, and there are only two seams in the whole thing.  Unless you know where they are, you wouldn't even see them.  We love our new countertops, and we would recommend this company to anyone.

The owner came over 30 minutes and began stating everything the previous contractor had done wrong. He was rude and unprofessional. I knew then I would not want to use him.

We had all our floors replaced with carpet, tile and/or engineered flooring. The entrance outside of our front entry was replaced with shale.  A tankless water heater was installed.  The old water heater was in an unfinished closet was converted into a linen closet.  We also had electrical outlets added in the living room and master bath.  
 
The kitchen cabinets were refinished along with hardware and under cabinet lighting added.  Countertops and backsplash replaced with granite.  New faucet, sink and cooktop/microwave installed.  Both baths were tiled and countertops replaced with granite. Granite was also installed on the top of a wall divider in guest bath and in front of the whirlpool tub & window ledge in the master bath.  New faucets, sinks, hardware and lighting were installed.  During the remodel of the master bath shower, extra space was found behind the current shower stall.  This was because the original shower was built around the size of a standard shower pan.  DE made the shower larger and added a seat with a matching granite top, glass doors and replaced the shower light with a fan/light combination.

It went well. They were professional and they helped us fix the problem.

The job went exactly as was promised. Excellent company to do business with.
