"I just had young septic service out to clean out my tanks and lines. I was very impressed with there services. They originally thought I only had one tank which I was quoted for. When they got here they realized I had two. Before they did anything he called me over showed me where I had two tanks and told be the price of two tanks. I was very with there honesty and letting me know the price increase. He also showed me that I had roots around my pump that he cleaned out. He also showed me where to properly put the Aerobic system tablets. They also cared about not tearing up my yard and ask me where would be the best place to park. So my yard wouldn’t get messed up. I highly recommend Young septic services to anyone looking for there septics to be clean. Or any others services they offer there respect for there clients and the work was terrific. He even showed me how low he had cleaned out the tank and my tank was FULL"

"Roel was amazing. He explained and answered all my questions about everything. Unlike most companies, I didn't feel overcharged by any quotes. Being a first time home buyer, I didn't know anything about the septic tanks. He found that I had 3 tanks and cleaned em and advised me on what to do next. I will definitely use them again and recommend em to anyone who asks."

"I just pay $75 you never know who's going to come out. They do everything electrical. Just about everything is covered except the septic tank. I had an air conditioner replaced. It went great, all I had to do was pay for the freon. He didn't charge e more than what was needed."

Septic Tanks questions, answered by experts

Expect to take at least a day to drill your own well by hand. For a 500-foot well, this could take even longer, depending on the makeup of the soil and the terrain you are drilling through. Other factors include your physical strength and overall fitness level and the weather conditions you’re working in.

Drain fields often include three to five trenches that are 18 to 24 inches deep. The pipes connecting the drain field to the septic tank will be placed between 12 and 18 inches deep, and the field as a whole will be about 100 feet long.

A cistern works by collecting rainwater from your gutters and downspouts and storing it in a holding tank. The holding tank can be installed above or below ground, and the size will depend on your household needs. The stored water can then be used for household tasks, watering your garden, and even for drinking water.

There are many reasons you may want to extend the depth of an existing well or drill a new, deeper well on your property. A deeper well can tap cleaner water sources—shallow water may contain more contaminants. With a deeper well, you’ll also have an easier time reaching the water table depth (the level at which underground water is found) and can get past tricky soil conditions.

Plus, if your local building code requires a minimum well depth for safety and environmental standards, you’ll meet the code by digging a deeper well in the first place.

The costs depend on whether you are buying into an existing well or starting from scratch. The average well drilling cost is between $25 and $60 per foot. The average cost to repair a well is between $350 and $1500. If you have a shared agreement and a community association, there will be additional legal and administrative fees.
