I asked the provider to plumb the replacement water heaters exactly like the old ones so they would work the same way. The result was not satisfactory. The water takes a very long time to get hot and when someone in the house flushes, you feel it! They also did not replace 10 year old pans.

We looked at your service history and noticed that we were out 7/11/14 to replace your two water heaters in the garage. We do have a full one year warranty on all of our parts and labor. If your water heaters are not functioning as they should, we would be happy to come out under warranty (even though it is a little over a year since we replaced them) to see what the cause of the problem is. Always feel free to call us with any concerns and we will be happy to address them."

The entire process went well. I talked with a service employee of American Plumbing on the morning of 5/5/15, and they installed my new water heater that afternoon, as promised. They supplied the water heater a 50 gallon Rheem that uses natural gas, with new fittings, etc. The service men were prompt and polite....and very helpful. The whole process met and exceeded my expectations. The new water heater works great!

After buying a new dishwasher from Home Depot and arranging for them to deliver and install it, the saying "Houston we have a problem" comes into play. When the guys came out to deliver and install, they advised that they were not able to install the dishwasher because we had "sweated fittings" and they were not plumbers.
So now going to have to fight with Home Depot to get reimbursed for the installation fee. After looking on Angie's List, found American Plumbing with excellent reviews. Called them and spoke to Danny who said they could come out the next day and install the dishwasher.
They were very prompt coming out, the price was reasonable. They were quick, friendly, and were able to install the dishwasher with no problems.
Would definitely use them again and recommend them!!!

Workers were very professional, not only how they acted but how they looked and dressed. The guys had to come back twice to do minor adjustments (no fault of theirs) and were extremely accommodating. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

Troy was outstanding. He was very professional, polite, and knowledgeable. He quickly identified the issue and was able to get it fixed right then. He was observant of keeping the mess from cutting in to the wall contained and cleaned up when he was through. He was on time and communicated with us on when to expect him.
He gave us a military discount after noticing my uniform hanging in the closet. I didn't know they offered one, and he didn't have to give me one. Very courteous.

We like them. We have used them for a lot of things. I like their service, and I like the people who get about the office. We call, and we go to church with the guy who runs the office. He and his wife run the office. We think they are trust worthy. I would tell other people to use them. They have done good service. We used someone else and they told us that we would have to reroute some plumbing, and then we used this company, and they said we didn't have to.

What impressed me was how they stood behind their guarantee. The servicemen repaired a leak, I paid them and they left. The next morning I discovered that water was still coming up into the yard. I called and they came back out, found an additional leak requiring additional time and parts. There were no additional charges.
Because of other experiences with plumbers, I was impressed. They did what they said they would do. Kind of sad when this is a rare occurrence these days.

"American Plumbing Company was experiencing heavy demand for their services, during January & February and we admit our serviceman's failure to give accurate information about when we could return. As soon as it was brought to our attention in the office, we called the customer to apologize. At that time, we offered him a discount for his trouble, and he agreed to the finishing work the following day. He later called back and cancelled, but subsequently paid his balance for our work. Pertinent facts: The original service call was scheduled for late morning. We worked until 6:15pm charging regular hour rates. We were able to locate the water line entering the house and tested that part of the system to rule out leaks there. We also tested the service line to determine that the leak was somewhere along its 1200 ft. run. Our return the next day as the customer anticipated proved undoable due to a full schedule of calls, some of whom had already had to wait up to 2 days. American Plumbing Company apologizes to the customer again for the angst this has caused him."

Water started pouring out of the commodes and filing up the bathtub on the first floor of our home late on a Monday night. We turned the water off and called American Plumbing. They made an appointment for the next day. They arrived right on time and used an auger to unblock the pipes from the home to the city septic line. The gentleman who came out was friendly and professional. I highly recommend American Plumbing. We will be using them again!

After a self-installation of a new sink cabinet in our home's guest bathroom, I realized the plumbing required to finish the job was outside my comfort zone. Late on a Tuesday afternoon (3-3:30 pm), less than 24-hours prior to arrival of guests, I called American Plumbing. To my surprise, they sent a team out that afternoon (within 30-minutes of my call), and charged me the usual hourly rate (despite the late afternoon call). The master plumber and his assistant were courteous, professional, efficient, and worked neatly. I was most impressed by the thoroughness of their work. I've never seen perfectionist plumbers, but these two were: they continued to make minor adjustments to the faucet handles, drain stop, etc., until they were "just right" (and had me check these areas just to ensure they were working to my satisfaction). This could be misconstrued as a "delay of game" on their part, as they are paid by the hour, but the "perfection-checks" did not take that much time, and in my opinion were appropriate. I cannot emphasize enough the quality of American Plumbing and give them my highest recommendation.

I was told by my water company that I must have a leak since my water usage went way up. I called American plumbing Co. They sent Ryan and Ricardo. I have 37 acres with water service to house and barn. I didn't have any idea the route the pipes took from the meter at road. Ryan walked the most direct route and found the tee to barn and shut off valves, from there we narrowed search to barn. We then walked the pasture looking for any greener areas and Ryan found a wet area. Once we found the leak, the work was quick and repair complete within an hours time. Great Job!!!

I started using American Plumbing about 2 years ago.They installed gas lines for my new hot water heater and gas fire logs originally. I have called them for several plumbing issues that happened; all work was done to my great satisfaction. I have previously hired and fired about eight other companies due to shoddy work and ethics. I have been absolutely thrilled with all the work done. I ask for Daniel as the plumber assigned to me every time because he takes pride in doing the job right the first time. The owner is a well-respected plumber in his own right and runs a tight ship. He doesn't settle for his workers doing any job without giving it their best.
I have the utmost respect and confidence in this company that has been greatly lacking in the previous plumbers I've used the past 12 years. I highly recommend them, and Daniel specifically, to everyone who needs plumbing or gas line work done.
