When I returned to Houston in Oct. 2010 I decided to pursue something less hazardous. We receive most of our work from Word of mouth. Some, from lead referral services. We've done 1000+ fences and carry a 4.8 out of 5 rating with over 570 customer reviews. I'm a disabled Veteran, and I'm offering to use my disability discount up to $200.00 on any fencing project to all those that sign with Selph Made Fences. Only one offer per customer. "A large pecan tree fell into our yard and damaged our metal fence during Hurricane Beryl. The fence was badly damaged and needed repairs. I called Centurion and they made a temporary repair in hot weather and mosquitos. Later in the year I called them to replace the fence and was quoted a reasonable price. Their installers were courteous and hard workers. The materials were excellent. The new fence looks better than the one they replaced. Yes, I would use them again."

"When Beryl came thru part of a palm tree took out a section of our fence. We received three quotes, and they were all in line with one another. We chose Texas Fence because we could charge it, times are tight for all and $3800 isn't just lying around. The only negative I can give in regards to Texas Fence is the lack of follow-up and communication after you agree to have them perform the work. We had to reach out to get an ETA and even then it took a few times to receive an answer. Communication is a lost art! Once we were scheduled the gentlemen that built our fence, Francisco and Adam, I highly recommend them. They cleaned up after themselves, communicated with me, and were courteous. They pay attention to detail and treat you as a person and not a job. I can not say enough about them :)"

I told him I wouldn't pay $200.00 he requested to replace two poor quality posts that were causing the bowing. I researched the quality stamp on the wood, and I found out the wood, made in China, had high moisture content, excessive knots, and some splinters- and the rating said, " do not use in high humidity areas." Note: He previously did a section of fencing for me, and it had a higher quality wood rating."
