After two weeks, I found Skylight Solutions in Dallas, who manufacture skylight domes and ship them nationwide. Despite not being very close, they were within an hour's drive, which was fortunate. Their professional inspected the skylight with the tarp still on, ensuring the house remained dry. As the skylight's size was not standard, Skylight Solutions had to make a custom dome. A few weeks later, the same professional installed the new dome, offering a more secure installation option, which I declined due to budget constraints from our recent house move.
