Firehouse recently installed skylights in my home. We have a tile roof which presents challenges beyond a traditional roof. Mark Latham was fantastic in helping me understand the best options available. There was no sales pressure but a sincere effort to get the right solution. His crew was great. They arrived on time, covered the floor and furniture to ensure that the area stayed as clean as possible. They were polite and professional and stayed with the job until it was inspected and we approved of how everything looked. I was very impressed and now have them working on a roof repair as well. I recommend them to anyone who is looking for a high quality, trustworthy and dependable roofing company.

These guys are awesome. From salesman (Brad) who first came out and followed up with our insurance and coordinated with us each step of the way, to office staff, to the roofers who put the roof on. Excellent. Done in two days

It went well. A few days after they replaced the house roof another storm blew the piece they had installed between the chimney and the house to prevent leaking the roof blew off and they promptly replaced it. There was no other damage from the second storm.

I was very pleased with the results. Firehouse rep arrived to estimate repairs on the roof and chimney as scheduled on a Saturday morning. I received a quote my e-mail the next day. Work was completed in one day the following Wednesday.

I am very happy to write a review about Firehouse Roofing
and IN PARTICULAR about Marty Lowry, the account manager who handled my
project.

Marty was recommended to me by a neighbor who was very
pleased with his results. I will say that I have been approached by roofing
contractors left and right and I felt that most of them were like carnival
hustlers, so I had my reservations about calling Marty?but my neighbor was
pretty adamant that he was different.

Wow! That was an understatement, for sure. I was impressed
after just the first few minutes we spoke. He came to my house and looked
around and I was convinced he knew more about the business than all the others
combined. Actually, I learned that Marty had been an insurance adjuster as well
as a contractor, so he really understood the process and the ways that
homeowners can be convinced to settle for much less than they rightfully should
receive. Storms and hail cause a lot more damage than just to the roof!

I filed a claim with my insurer and they scheduled for an
adjuster to come out to the house. Marty came out to do his own inspection
along with the adjuster. His was far more thorough!

After a week or so, the insurance company informed me that
they had computed the value of my claim and, without asking for my concurrence,
sent me a check for just over $11k after depreciation and deductible were
applied. On Marty?s advice I did nothing with that check and immediately called
him to review the details of the damage report that came with it. He said that this
settlement was definitely LOW and that I should appeal it (with his help).

Because the manager handling my account went on vacation,
the process took about three weeks and Marty kept pressing them to get working
on it. He sent them over 70 photos of damages they had overlooked plus a lot of
detailed explanations and subcontractor estimates for painting and other
related tasks.

Finally, the insurance company issued their results to me by
email. Because of Marty?s expert work in dealing with them, they agreed to send
and ADDITIONAL $21k!!! That enables us to fix ALL the damage our house suffered
to roof, fence, A/C units, windows, and so forth.

I am convinced that no other roofer could or would have done
that. It required both very superior expertise and a lot of tenacious work and
follow up including several visits to our house to collect more information and
evidence. I am sure that the whole Firehouse staff must be very competent or
Marty would not be associated with them?but I want to specifically recommend MARTY
LOWRY (ph: 469.992.3091) to anyone wishing to properly remediate storm or hail
damage or any roofing problem at all.

It took a day or two to get through because of all the storm damage after the April storms. Mark came out personally, located the leak and fixed it on the spot! I had used him for one small job previously, but I would not hesitate to choose them for a major job or complete roof. My experience has been that they are very professional and highly ethical.

The job went very well.  I contacted the contractor on Monday afternoon, he came Tuesday, inspected roof and gave me a quote.  After accepting quote, his guys finished another job early and were there that afternoon.  The guys  very nice, answered all my questions and were thorough and completed the job quickly.  I really appreciate the responsiveness of this company especially as we were expecting more rain in 2 days and timing was important,  I feel the price was probably and little on the high side but the benefit of having my roof repaired quickly and eliminating any further damage to the interior of my home was worth it.  Thankyou!

Mark responded to our inquiry promptly. Arrived on time to assess our roof and provide a quote. He returned to repair the roof in a timely manner. He is professional, courteous, knowledgeable. He picked up and removed any debris laying about. Mark's charges were very reasonable.

Our entire roof was replaced to include gutters. Although the roof had some minor issues, Tim was quick to respond and had it fixed right away. For a person to come out early Sunday morning to fix an issue says a lot in my book.

We hired Firehouse Roofing to repair a small roof leak.  They came out within a couple days of the initial call to evaluate the problem.  The following day they gathered the materials and made the repair.  We were satisfied with the work although a $1,000 for a small roof repair seems a little expensive.

Firehouse Roofing is a great company.  This is an organization that really tries it best to please the customer.  Tim came out and found a very stubborn leak.  He offered suggestions about additional maintenance related to the age of the roof of my home.  The price was fair and the work was completed within a few hours.  I would recommend Firehouse Roofing to anyone and anytime.

Great -- showed up on time cleaned up

We noticed a minor leak around a vent cover in the attic and contacted our insurance company. They advised us to get an estimate from a roofer and we chose to contact a smaller company, close to our address. Firehouse roofing were first to respond, they were courteous and promptly sent a representative to our address. After they took a look at the roof, they advised complete replacement, as quite a few shingles had signs of hail damage. That finding, more specifically the number of shingles showing signs of hail damage as opposed to wear and tear, was contested by the insurance company. Both sides showed us evidence in favor or against roof replacement. The roof is 12 years old, and supposed to last 30 years, although our area, being prone to hail storms and strong winds, typically requires more frequent roof work.
Since we had a high deductible, we chose to have the problem areas patched. Firehouse Roofing showed us which areas required repairs, and they performed those repairs to our complete satisfaction - they were on time, courteous, took "before and after" pictures, completed the work in a reasonable amount of time. We have had no problems in the ensuing 4 months, the roof looks good, there were no discrepancies between the estimate they gave us and the price we paid. When roof replacement is needed, we will go with their company.
The only caveat is that the roofing company and the insurance company have opposing goals, and we had to basically choose whom to believe. The roofing company needs to show a profit, the insurance company does not want to pay claims. Once we decided against roof replacement, Firehouse roofing was very gracious in honoring our decision, and went to work as promptly and professionally as if we had ordered complete roof replacement. Shortly after the hail storms last December, a number of reps for roofing companies solicited work in our neighborhood. I would avoid those.

My experience with Firehouse Roofing Inc. was wonderful. I have had other contractors in the last 10 to 15 years and I have had pretty bad experiences so I am very thankful to have found this company. Tim Mullen oversaw every subcontractor that was here and that definitely made a difference. He expected perfection from everyone. The pricing was fair, everyone was very professional and the clean-up was very thorough. I can’t say enough good things about Tim and Firehouse Roofing.
