"Enrique and Joseluis did a beautiful job. We needed our faucet mixer valve replaced, but there was not access panel. They measured and cut a neat hole in the wall to get to the plumbing work. Once the new valve was installed, they installed an access panel. They also installed an access panel for a secondary bath. Excellent work! Will use them again for other jobs."

We were certain it would take two days. Overall we are so excited to have our new shower. The safety of it is already relieving our anxieties of showering. "Last October, my sister, an elderly veteran living alone, contracted Genie Bath Systems to remodel her master and guest baths. She was diagnosed cancer and passed before the remodel was complete. Which, to be fair as we were not able to work with Genie while attending to my sister. The contract was expensive. Very expensive. The cost of the remodel is close to 1/4th the value of her home. I noticed there were issues with the remodel that showed a surprising lack of attention to detail. Genie sent people to address the issues twice. Yet issues remain. My calls to my contact at Genie are now being ignored. Also, the only document I have for the remodel is the contract my sister signed. It is not detailed. I have and continue to ask for a breakdown of the cost. An estimate or work order. This request is also being ignored. I am disappointed and have to wonder why Genie will not provide this information. I have several other questions for Genie that I will not go into here. But based on my experience, I cannot recommend Genie. In fact I would warn anyone considering Genie to be very careful about the cost of the contract."

"Think twice before hiring this company. This review is based on how we were treated by the owner Donnie Ferguson. We hired Diamond Decks to install a patio cover in our backyard. The cover is beautiful. The material matches the house and the craftmanship of the fireplace, roof and woodwork are exactly what we wanted. Here’s where it all went wrong. The last job was to stain the concrete both existing and the new walkway we had them install. The crew did not power wash the 10-year-old concrete before staining. We contacted the project manager right away and asked why they were not power washing and he said the crew didn’t think it needed power washed. Ten years of dirt and they didn’t think it needed power washed? Prior to staining, the crew put samples of the color on the concrete and asked for approval of the color. They didn’t wait for the stain to dry but had us sign off on the color while it was wet. The certificate we signed says “Do not sign this certificate until all services have been satisfactorily performed and material supplied or goods received and found satisfactory.” Despite this warning they had us sign the certificate prior to the stain and seal being applied. Let me also point out that no one asked us what we wanted the stain to look like or guided us in any way to get the look we wanted. The stain looked nothing like we wanted so they came back and applied another color and seal and made it worse. We reached out to Donnie and let him know we were not happy with the stain. His resolution was to charge us another $10,000 to do an overlay on the two patios and then apply another stain. Donnie believed it was the old concrete that was the problem and thought we needed an overlay. We received quotes from two other companies to fix the stain. Neither company thought we needed an overlay. Instead they would remove the seal and stain and reapply the color we wanted. We again reached out to Donnie and respectfully asked for a reduction in our final payment of $7500 to fix the concrete stain. This was his reply: Absolutely not. We are experts and what we do and the color selection you picked does not need multiple coats. I do not care who you are getting your false information from. And you cannot remove foot print and terrible texture work that is in the concrete work we did not pour. The imperfections would be difficult for anyone to see because they are enhanced once the color and sealer are applied. This has one of the best sealer you can use and this is specifically why the form says DO NOT SIGN THIS FORM Unless you approve the color. It’s not an easy product to strip off hence the reason it last much longer and that’s why we use it. The balance owed is now past due $41628. I will need payment in full by the end of day or I will need to notify the attorneys that the contract breach is made. You’ve signed all the paperwork we asked of you and now you wanna insult us by telling us you want us to refund money cause you don’t like what you selected. This is the owner of the company, threatening, insulting and hostile. We of course were not in breach of contract and he knew it. They had just completed the work seven days ago. Again, think twice about hiring this company. They showed a total lack of concern about our dissatisfaction and blaming us for the results of the concrete stain. I will say that Casey, the project manager, was always professional and showed empathy for our concerns."

"Jordan M. was excellent in skill and service. He arrived on time, got right to work and completed the shower install when he said he would. He was respectful of our home and cleaned up after he was finished. Our new shower is gorgeous! We will highly recommend him."

"We had Champion Windows installed and after 2 years there will is $99 plus(inflation) for service to be performed. The contract speaks of unlimited seal failures which do not cover any sealant issues. Anytime after the 2 years be prepared for the service department and the installation team to fight you on fixing your issues. The lady that was scheduling my maintenance pretty much came up with every reason possible that cause have caused the leak besides poor labor practices. The installation team told me that poor cleaning and possibly the glare from my neighbors house window could melt the caulking. I would not recommend Champion Windows to anyone. The failure of their caulking job has caused water to leak inside of our house which has now become our problem. Windows should have more than a 2 warranty on labor, if it is a good product. Windows and doors are major seals for any home. I should not have to constantly worry about sealant melting or eroding in a few years. Champ"

Chris at Texas Tuff Refinishing did a wonderful job that has brought in compliments from my neighbors, and at a reasonable price.
