"The personnel at Home Depot flooring were very nice and professional and have good selection of Carpets colors/styles. I would have given better rating but here is the issue I have. There staff that represents this area seems to turn over a bunch in the 3 months or so that I dealt with them and though the staff may be knowledgeable on styles, etc... I don't feel they have enough interior design experience. If know what color you want, then your good. The Carpet Installers were nice and professional, and did a great job. I think if they would contract with an interior design company and have this as an option, they would do much better. Also I feel if they had options to upload your room and see how it would look with various carpets, this would help."

"This has been one of the most frustrating installation experiences I've ever had. Originally scheduled for completion by November 2024, the project faced multiple delays due to various issues, including the unavailability of the promised luxury vinyl flooring. As a result, it wasn't finished until January 2025, which is completely unacceptable! There was a lack of transparency around pricing, particularly when a cheaper vinyl was used, and more carpet was added instead of vinyl. To make matters worse, inaccurate measurements by the contractors led to insufficient materials being ordered, and poor communication only compounded the problem. Overall, I am extremely disappointed and will likely avoid Lowe's for any future major projects."

A griddle is nearly the same as a grill and, therefore, just as worth the cost. Griddles offer more options in terms of what you can cook because there’s more contact between the food and the cooking surface. While flat-top griddles are great for steaks and burgers, they also work beautifully for nearly any protein or vegetable—zucchini, eggplant, fish, bacon, and more.

DIY repairs are possible for minor fixes, but professional services ensure proper diagnostics and long-term reliability.

Repair costs range from $50 to $300, depending on appliance type and replacement part availability.

Yes. Not only do gas stoves present the risk of a gas leak, but cooking with gas produces twice as much harmful particulate matter. According to Columbia University’s Climate School, gas stoves can also release formaldehyde, a known human carcinogen, and carbon monoxide, which can be toxic in high concentrations.

The biggest difference between an outdoor grill and a griddle is the surface you’re cooking on. Grills are made with grates, so the food is more exposed to the fire, ash, and smoke beneath it. Griddles have a flat top, like a giant cast iron pan or skillet. They’re easy to cook on, and you won’t have to worry about your food being overexposed to flames or falling through a grate.
