The installation went very well. It was a replacement of the same natural gas water heater model that was 14 years old. The man that installed it was very nice and very thorough. The one thing that I had a problem with is that they really, really scalped me as far as the cost. He had to get flexible hoses for the updraft and I went to the Home Depot and I checked their prices and they were 13 dollars each, but the installation technician charged me 72 dollars as well as for a drill as well. He also charged me 500-600% more on each item he needed. I questioned it with the company and he said that the charges were because of the transportation and the certifications that the plumbers have to maintain. I challenged him about the cost for the actual work. It should have been close to $1,000 but it ended up costing about $1,700. I have a list of all the items that he bought with the increased charges for the items on it. I really feel that they took advantage of me. Another issue was the work order that I signed had no tax on it because I have a tax ID which allows me to not pay tax. I questioned why there was no tax charge on this, and I think that this was another scam because you don't actually know what amount of tax they are charging you. It was the technician who charged me for all of the extra parts and he never called the company to verify the price for the items he was charging me. I'll never use these guys again. I should have checked somewhere else for a price before I used these guys. He was very professional and very nice, but I couldn't figure out where he got the pricing from.

The windows are great, but the installation service was a nightmare.

The contractor that put the doors on was here on time and was able to install the doors in properly. I think they did an excellent job and I was completely satisfied with my experience.

This was one of the worst experiences I ever had with home improvement. Everything was subcontracted out and was not happy with that at all because I never knew who was doing the work in my home. The information that I received from the clerk at Home Depot was not clear at all. It was just a disaster. Home Depot really needs to have qualified people to do the work for their customers. It looked horrible and I was very upset at the entire process.

My experience with them was horrible and I was not happy at all. They did not put in the ceramic tile right, some carpet was cut wrong and it seemed like no one knew what they were doing.

Category should be Home improvement, I bought a pre-fab shed in the garden department which was in two huge, heavy boxes which would not fit in my van. The very helpful associate sent me to the tool rental department to rent the Home Depot pick-up truck for $20 for 75 minutes, all the time I needed to get it to my house and return the truck. I was happy with my purchase, the competent assistance I received in the store, and the availability of the rental truck for such a reasonable price.

THEY MADE IT BLEND IN WITH THE WALL. THEY DID IT WELL AND CAME IN ON TIME.

THE SALESMAN WAS JR. HE WAS VERY HELPFUL. THE APPLIANCES WERE REASONABLY PRICED.
