LOWES HOME IMPROVEMENT

This has been one of the most frustrating installation experiences I've ever had. Originally scheduled for completion by November 2024, the project faced multiple delays due to various issues, including the unavailability of the promised luxury vinyl flooring. As a result, it wasn't finished until January 2025, which is completely unacceptable! There was a lack of transparency around pricing, particularly when a cheaper vinyl was used, and more carpet was added instead of vinyl. To make matters worse, inaccurate measurements by the contractors led to insufficient materials being ordered, and poor communication only compounded the problem. Overall, I am extremely disappointed and will likely avoid Lowe's for any future major projects.

The experience was Lowe's wasn't that great, I had to go through a lot of things and go up there to sign multiple paperwork. Their people also were not following up and were forgetting they had called me. Their contractor did fine. The first contractor sent me to kept playing phone tag, and I couldn't get in touch with him, and the second contractor was fine. He was good. The price was pretty good. They were on time, once they got the work scheduled. I would use them, because they are convenient.

I thought that their delivery service was terrible. They dropped the stove and then laughed about it. I had to call the manager and have them deliver a new stove. The delivery guys were absolutely horrible. The manager was responsive and nice.

It went well.  When I went into the store, I knew I wanted a drier--I was hoping to buy a clearance item or scratch and dent, but there weren't any driers available in that area.  I got a floor clerk to help me and he arranged all the paperwork and the delivery--it took about 5 minutes.  Then he sent me up to the cashier to pay, and I was on my way.The delivery guy called before going to my daughter's house and we arranged to meet there in about 10 minutes.  He installed the new drier and hauled the old one away.  It was a good experience.

We were able to take it by the sale that they had and we got it a good price. We felt that in most of the parts the people that we dealt with were very helpful and knowledgeable. The installers were also good. There was one salesman that really didn’t seem to know things.

They contracted the work out and they have to come back this weekend and fix a problem. They did a good job and ordered one extra window than we were supposed to have but they refunded it so that was probably the only glitch. The windows were great and the contractors did a good job, they are coming out to fix something and we haven't had any trouble with them. I will use them again in the future.

They charged $35. I found another independent company closer to home that actually bet their deal. The 2 reasons I chose not to go with Lowe's are the independent company that I found close to my home offered a higher quality carpets and pad and no work charge. They weren't going to charge me to move the furniture, but Lowe's was going to. When one installs carpets to me it's just a foregone conclusion that furniture is going to have to be moved. The quote was around $2950. The other company I went with charged me $2800 and that was built into the quote for moving the furniture and it was an upgraded quality pad and also carpets. Lowe's was more expensive than the other company. When they came out they were professional and courteous. I would not consider them for another quote in the future.

I called several days after waiting to hear from someone on the estimate. Once I got the information, I went to purchase the product, but found out the estimate they gave me was no were near what was quoted. The professionalism was not there at all and the service person was very unkind. I will just let them keep my two $35 estimate fees. I don't won't there product. The manager did end up stepping in and made the situation right.

The man that did the window did a very bad job but they let him go. Lowe?s made it right so we are pleased with them. That is the only complaint we have because the man that did the shutters was great and did a beautiful job. The people that installed the carpet and the guys that installed the appliances all did a great job. We?re happy all around. We thought the price was good and we're pleased.

They left open blocks of unpainted wood around the door. It took a lot to finally get someone else out to do a good job and paint it. The first contractor who came out said all they were supposed to do was install it. I went back and forth with the manager and finally was able to get the second person to come out and fix the problem. This took over 6 months.

They contracted out the installation, and the installer acted as though he was unhappy to be there and above the work. He did not install the fan correctly, but I was too intimated by his manner to ask him to fix it. I have lived with a rattling, noisy fan rather than calling them back to my house. I love the stove, but I will not use them again.

They did an excellent job. First they had someone come out and take the measurement so that I was sure that I would get the right sized window. The representative was very professional in talking to be about installing the doors. One of the doors that I was installing was a patio door. They had 2 doors from noble. They were asking me about which side I wanted and they also informed me about the pros and cons for having each door. When they came out that day there was some confusion as on what has been ordered versus what was on the write up sheet. Everything was done to my satisfaction. It rained that day. They came back out and patched the cocks on all the windows and doors that were damaged due to rain. It was not even their fault but they came back out and did it for free.

Lowes came out measured the area concerned before a contract was issued. Once issued we selected the door and they scheduled the installation. The door frame was filled-in where the old screws were that held in the old door. New holes were drilled and the door was installed.

They were prompt and followed up, confirmed appointments and called back to see if we were satisfied after the install. I was very impressed with their service and was actually shocked how nice they were to deal price. Personnel was friendly, cleaned up well, etc.

They were very helpful to us as we looked at carpet. They gave us all the details and were vivid on everything, allowing us to make an educated decision. Along with that I was pleased in how they helped us in a no-pressure manner.

Overall I had a good experience.

Lowe's has very nice people working for them. As far as work though, I do not think that I would say they are the best. They did work out great and got the job done. They were very reasonable and I have no problems now. I am happy with the outcome, but, like I said they are not the greatest.

THEY WERE EXTREMELY RESPONSIVE, AND DELIVERED AND INSTALLED THE CARPET EXACTLY WHEN THEY SAID THEY WOULD. IT WAS A GREAT EXPERIENCE.

LOWE'S IS A GREAT PLACE TO PURCHASE ITEMS FOR THE HOME. THEY CARRY NUMEROUS ITEMS FOR YOUR OUTDOOR PATIO AS WELL AS GREAT ITEMS FOR THE INTERIOR OF YOUR HOME.

IT WAS A GOOD EXPERIENCE. THE SALES PERSON WAS VERY KNOWLEDGABLE AND HELPFUL WITH OUR SELECTION OF BLINDS. THEY ALSO WERE VERY PROFESSIONAL WHILE THEY WERE IN OUR HOME.

THE INSTALLER WAS VERY COURTEOUS AND PROMPT. HE DID AN EXCELLENT JOB.

THE SALESMAN, WES, WAS HELPFUL ON ANY QUESTIONS WE HAD AND HE HELPED SET UP DELIVERY. THE DELIVERY WAS LATE, AND ONLY ONE PERSON CAME TO DELIVER, SO MY HUSBAND HAD TO HELP.

CHRIS ADAMS WAS VERY POLITE AND WENT OUT OF HIS WAY TO SEE THAT I RECEIVED THE VERY BEST DEAL.

WE LOOKED SEVERAL PLACES AND FOUND LOWES TO BE MOST HELPFUL. THEY WERE THE ONLY ONES WHO CARRIED THE SIZE STOVE WE NEEDED AT THE PRICE WE COULD AFFORD.

LOWES HAD THE BEST SELECTION OF FOUR STORES WE VISITED. THEY LOWERED THE PRICE FOR DISCONTINUED MODELS OF STOVES. THEIR FINANCING WAS GOOD, ONE YEAR WITH NO INTEREST. THE SALES PEOPLE WERE HELPFUL AND INFORMATIVE.
