"Gabriel was excellent at walking us through the process. He provided all the documentation we needed for our insurance company after the roof was installed. The roof was installed in 1 day. His team was respectful of our property and left it in better condition than when they arrived. Great company! Itâ s a huge investment and we worried we wouldnâ t pick a quality contractor but with Gabriel we got both!!"

"I had a contractor come out prior to AM Roofing. The contractor found the problem, gave me a quote. I decided to get another quote as I wasn't satisfied with the repair workup. I called AM Roofing, he set up an appointment and came right over. Went on the roof, showed me where shingles were loose and could be lifted during heavy winds and rains. If repaired could prevent future leaks and further roof repair or replacement. Gave me a two-year warranty, and repaired the roof the same day. The price was reasonable and within budget. I put years of life on the existing room at a time when replacement costs of a roof would be higher during the present state of higher material costs!"

"John and his crew did an outstanding job replacing our roof. They arrived on time and even though we had heat advisory they worked 2 full days replacing 63 plus squares of shingles. They did a good job of cleaning up afterward . I am also hiring him to add vents to my front soffits. I definitely recommend him for roofing jobs."

Roofing questions, answered by experts

In Conroe, homes with steep roof pitches, multiple rooflines, or intricate dormers can complicate roofing projects. Older properties may show signs of foundation settling, especially due to local clay soils, which can affect roof alignment. Features like solar panels, skylights, or nearby mature trees can limit access for roofing contractors. Look for uneven roof surfaces, visible sagging, or mismatched additions as signs of potential challenges.

Helpful?

To keep your family safe during roofing projects in Conroe, set up temporary barriers or gates to keep children and pets away from work areas. Cover pools, patios, and outdoor play spaces to protect from falling debris. Ask your roofing contractor about daily site cleanup and nail sweeps. Plan indoor activities and keep windows closed to minimize dust and noise during the project.

Helpful?

Roofing projects in Conroe are influenced by high humidity, sudden storms, and intense summer heat. Contractors often schedule work for early mornings or cooler months to avoid heat-related delays. Materials must withstand strong UV rays, hail, and rapid weather changes. Storm season can cause unexpected interruptions, so planning around local forecasts and choosing weather-resistant roofing materials is essential for a smooth project.

Helpful?

If you observe missing shingles, damaged flashing, or water stains directly beneath the roof in Conroe, roofing work is likely needed. However, cracks in interior walls may suggest foundation movement, while water near kitchens or bathrooms could indicate plumbing issues. High humidity can sometimes mimic roof leaks. When unsure, consult a local roofing contractor to accurately diagnose the source of the problem.

Helpful?

In Conroe, if you notice curling or missing shingles, granules collecting in gutters, or water stains on ceilings after rain, your roof may need attention. Visible nail heads, inconsistent shingle patterns, or poor attic ventilation can signal improper roofing work. Rust on flashing, bubbling under roofing materials, or roofs older than 15 years are also strong indicators that a professional roofing contractor should assess your roof.
