We were told Jeff that would be available for help if there were issues; however, when we call, there is a lack of follow-up, no return calls, emails, and scheduled meetings are stood-up without any call. We have a gate motor that was installed totaling $1,995 that is unreliable that cannot be returned as Nestor has the original purchase paperwork, which we cannot obtain. Nestor recommended this motor and are now saying that this is the "WalMart" version - support is self-help with a 800 number. The better motor is LyftMaster, which we were told that they would recommend, we could order, and they would install (we would, of course, pay him). We have praised Nestor for their work, provided references when called, requested quotes for additional fence work all to be left with problems that we now have to pay several thousand of dollars to fix. Why?"

"Working with JR was a simple, no nonsense and professional experience from start to finish. We wanted some kind of shade for our uncovered patio. JR came over, listened to what we were looking for, and came up with some options and a plan. JR‘s quote was right in line with, or less expensive than other quotes we had received. We ended up going with an approximately 30x12 cedar arbor. Once we settled on a day to get the arbor installed, JR and his crew came over on the scheduled day, and was on time. He and his crew were very professional and friendly, and they were very efficient. What I thought would be a multi day job was completed in one day. As for the results, the arbor is beautiful. It really does provide significant shade. It is as if we have a covered patio, but with the benefit of having air circulate more freely. We love our arbor and highly recommend JR for any arbor, deck, or other wood work job. He does excellent, professional work at a fair price."

"Joe was completed in 5 days. Day one tore down old deck. Started framing new deck out on day two and worked all day without lunch break. Day three and four were full days of work with deck completed before 5 pm on day four. Day five they were here with a trailer to clean up and haul away all old deck debris plus leftover materials and etc. We are very pleased with our new deck and appreciate the professional work Charles and his son performed very day."

After begging for a quote to re-level for months, Christopher finally blessed me with a quote for $13,350. Considering I paid $27,951.72 in 2018, and the excavation work was already done by the plumbers, I decided that I could not justify spending that much more, for a total of $57,300 on my foundation with no warranty, so now I live in a permanently cracked and crooked house."

Once we decided to proceed, vendor's employee arrived at designed time to remove door and replace with a temporary. We were told the work would take 1 week, and it did. We got a call on the morning of the day door was to be returned, and the employee arrived at the appointed time. The quality of the work was excellent. We have already recommended the vendor to friends."

"I had a terrible experience with Ace Handyman Services (NW San Antonio). I hired them to install two CO detectors, replace a burned-out bulb, fix a toilet seat, and caulk a meter-long area. When they finished, I discovered they hadn't installed the CO detectors at all. To make matters worse, they charged me $1,045. When I questioned why their fee was double or even triple that of other companies, they explained that they would need to come back a second time to install the CO detector. I pointed out that forgetting to install a top-priority item was their mistake, but they still charged me for the additional visit."
