"Z&Z pools did a fantastic job on replastering my pool. I also had a leak and they didn’t stop until it was found and fixed. They were professional,fast, and reliable. When they said they would here at a specific time they were on time. If I had a question they answered my call promptly. Every employee that came to my home was nice and extremely polite. The most straightforward approach to filling an in-ground swimming pool is to connect a garden hose from your exterior tap. However, this is not the best idea if there's water scarcity or restricted rationing. If so, you'll want to make alternate arrangements, like getting a water delivery service to fill your pool.

A 24-foot diameter pool is the most popular size for a round above ground model, while 15 by 30 feet is a common choice for oval-shaped pools. However, you'll find round sizes everywhere between 8 and 33 feet. Oval pools range up to 21 by 41 feet but can be customized to stretch much longer. Choosing the right size will come down to where you can level your yard and how many swimmers plan to use the pool at a given time.

Any number between 7.2 and 7.8 is an ideal pH for swimming pools or 80 to 120 ppm. Your pool testing kit should be able to measure both of these numbers. If your pool’s pH is below this range, the water is too acidic and can cause scaling and damage to pool equipment. If the water’s pH is above this range, it can decrease the effectiveness of necessary chemicals, like chlorine.

The time it takes for a pool heater to heat a pool can range from eight to 48 hours, with an average of about 12 hours for the initial heating. For a more specific example, an average-sized 15,000-gallon pool may take six to 10 hours to heat up by 10 degrees. The exact duration depends on several factors, including the pool's size, the type and size of the heater, the starting water temperature, and the outside air temperature. It may take some trial and error to determine the precise time your specific pool takes to reach a desired temperature.
