He rebuilt a cedar fence around the perimeter of my home using high quality cedar and materials, he came back to complete the project with a stain and it looks fantastic. Clearly has an attention to detail and does most of the work himself; NOT a clean polo shirt guy coming to give you a bid, check-in on the work, and not be seen again until the end. He is in the middle of it, has some help, but largely doing it all and will explain as much to you as you want to hear or ask about. Looks to do things the right way, no shortcuts, but keeps very competitive bids with the small operation. Repainted the exterior of our two-story home, caulked all old siding joints and trim, replaced, or repaired some trim work throughout. Realistically timelines and schedule that he follows through on.
