Baker Septic Service of Canyon Lake, TX offers septic services for residential and commercial areas. Locally owned & operated, we offer fast and friendly service. We are also a state licensed and insured company.
"I am a big fan of Baker Septic. I was convinced that my septic pump was defective after 19 years in service. Martin did some diagnostics and discovered that there was some defective wiring and after reconnecting the wires the pump was working just fine. Saved me hundreds of dollars in replacement costs. Thank you Baker Septic for doing things right."

We Specialize in, Land Clearing, Excavation and Trenching, Site Preparation, Removal of Trees, Rock, Dirt and More, Hauling and delivery of Materials, Demolition, Concrete work
"I needed a solution to redirecting water that was pooling in my yard from my home’s gutter downspouts. The downspouts needed to be buried and moved away from the house, some drains added and low lawn spots regraded. After a number of consults from other companies trying to sell me costly drain systems and unneeded products, Freedom Land Services was clearly the best choice and top tier. Consultation, punctuality, professionalism, expertise, communication, fast completion, no up-selling and honest pricing, informative, and my yard was left so very clean and tidy during the project and after. I really appreciate the time and attention to detail Adam and his team took to customize and execute my project, and it works flawlessly. I couldn’t be more thrilled with the results!"

"I hired Viking to iinstall new tank and pump. The pump went out so I called for repair service. I had no water for almost a week. Calls went unreturned. When Sheldon finally returned my call he said he was too busy and would not come to check on problem for another week. He said that I was on my own and to call the vendor that sold him the pump. I paid over $7000.00 for lousy customer service and faulty equipment that didn?t last for more than a few years. Do not hire this company. "

"I hired All in One Septic in December based on reviews on your website. I should have asked more questions, but we were in an emergency situation, with water backing into our house. Ricky Thompson, the supposed owner of the company, came out and said we needed a new drain field. To this day, I am not completely sure we needed that; however, after he was done with it, we definitely did. They came out and dug a new drain field in record time, a couple of hours, and left in such a hurry that we weren t even allowed to ask questions. The problem wasn t fixed; water was still backing up, which tells me that the drain field wasn t even the problem. We paid this company $10,800. We hired a plumber because, at the time, we still believed we were being told the truth, and perhaps the issue was between the septic and the house. He told us that the drain field was not put in correctly. When he unearthed everything, the drain field was slanting back toward the house, and one of the pipes wasn t even fully attached to the infiltrators. We tried calling Ricky, but, as in other reviews, he refused to answer the phone or texts. He finally answered when I blocked my number and repeated calls to his number. He said he would come out and fix it, then tried to charge us an additional $600 to fix it when he found out we hired a plumber. He said that the plumber damaged everything. We watched the plumber, who also does septic work, use a backhoe, then a shovel. He didn t damage anything, but Ricky was so ugly and unprofessional that I told him he wasn t welcome back on our property. We then hired another septic company, recommended by a friend, who came out and agreed that the drain field was not put in correctly. They had to dig out everything that had already been done and trash it. They dug a field 3X as long and used lasers to make sure it drained the right way, for $4500. I had asked Ricky in one of our conversations how many infiltrators were put in to which he replied 16-18 based on the size of our house. There was nowhere near that number when they were taken out. obviously, since the new one was 3X as long as the initial. We haven t had a problem since."

The cost to replace a septic tank is $7,350 for the average homeowner. This cost can range, however, from $470 to $22,500, depending on several factors. Your house size is a significant factor in the overall cost, but other things like material type impact the final price tag. For example, installing a new septic tank in a one-bedroom house typically costs $500 to $900, whereas installing a new septic tank in a five or six-bedroom home is generally $1,200 to $1,600.
Yes, most states require septic tank installers to have a license, and for good reason. Hiring an unlicensed septic tank pro could lead to poor quality work, costly future expenses, and potential code violations.
As you browse our pro listings, take note of the “Angi Approved” badge. Angi Approved businesses meet our standards for certification which include:
The owner, principal, or relevant manager passed a criminal background check
Required to have applicable state and local licenses
Maintain an average star rating of 3.0 or better on our network, if they have at least one review
Paying to advertise their services
Meeting any other eligibility criteria required by Angi
Keep in mind licensing is different from certifications. A license is a legal requirement to operate a business, while certifications are voluntary.
The cost of septic tank repair is $1,775 for the average homeowner. However, depending on a few elements, you might pay as little as $170 or as much as $6,100. Location, repair type, and tank material all determine the final cost. For example, replacing the septic tank filter can be as little as $200 to $300. However, repairing septic lines costs more, averaging around $1,500.
A septic tank can typically last 15 to 20 years on average, though your system's lifespan will vary depending on the type of septic system and the materials used. To help increase your septic tank's lifespan, schedule routine maintenance and do not flush items like cat litter, cigarette butts, or paper towels.
Repairing or replacing a septic tank is a job best left to a professional. Your septic tank is an essential part of your home, and if installed or repaired incorrectly, it could lead to significant problems. Things like polluted water, property damage, and health risks to your family could all happen as a result of an improper septic tank repair or installation.
