After noticing that the siding on our 35-year-old 2800 square foot house was in bad shape and needing replacing. We knew it would be a major project and not an inexpensive one. We looked on Nextdoor and did a Google search and narrowed our search to three companies. We ultimately decided on Spartan Roofing and Siding. They weren’t necessarily the cheapest, but all three quotes were within a couple thousand dollars of each other. Our decision was based on several factors. The owner of Spartan, David, who came to our house was well spoken, listened to our vision of the project, and gave us several options. David is also the owner of Spartan. We got his quotes back in just a couple of days, just like he said he would, and followed up with a phone call to make sure he covered everything and to answer any questions. Since David was the owner, he didn’t need to check with anyone to get approval of the quotes. He was on time for all visits and phone calls. The start date met our schedule. David told us the crew would be at our house 8 AM on the date we chose. At 8 AM, we looked outside and everyone was there and ready to start. It was a full crew of 4-8 people. Jimmy was the project manager, we saw him almost everyday and also texted us regularly. We seldom saw the crew take a break and they often worked late. They kept us informed of what they were doing and encouraged my husband to watch what they were doing and answered all his questions. As soon as the siding was done and soffit replaced where needed, the painting crew came in and started. Within 10 days it was like we had a new house! The siding looked great and the painting was also. When done, Jimmy did a walk around and had a few touch ups taken care of. The crew even hung new light fixtures by the front door and garage. We’ve used contractors on a lot of projects during our 45 years of home ownership. We would never hesitate to use Spartan again. We highly recommend them and give them a 10 out of 10 score.

The company arrived on time on schedule. They replaced an old metal roof. With a new metal roof. The job was done in a professional manner. Crew members constantly checked for metal fasteners on the area around the house They completed the job in a reasonable time. The mater and labor were first rate. No complants.

From the moment Anthony Judd, Senior Project Consultant for Spartan Roofing & Siding, arrived at our home to discuss the work we needed done, we knew we were in the best hands possible. Professional, courteous, and down-to-earth are only some accolades he deserves. Ours was a small job—replace the siding on one end of our house, along with new fascia and soffit in a couple of small areas. Anthony listened to what we needed, took photos of the problem areas, and after we explained we were on a tight budget, promised he would send us his estimate the next day at a fair price. They first said they were done when only half the job was done. We had to call the office to get clarification. They completed all of it. Left nails and trash in my yard. And the siding is painted the wrong color. I am having the trim and garage repainted, so I had picked a certain color. I showed the workers the color. I guess they got a similar color but does not match the paint I have. So now I have to pay someone to repaint the siding to match.

Everything went great! All the crews were very courteous and professional. Our house had several issues and Spartan was able to resolve all of them. We are very pleased with the results and definitely recommend Spartan!

We had a great experience with Spartan Exteriors when we had James Hardie exterior siding panels installed for our house. They were installed over the original plywood panels (using it as the substrate), which eliminated most of the potential demo (and the mess of demo!), and gave us a faster completion time. The crew took the right amount of time to do it right – I really appreciate this kind of professionalism. The crew showed clear knowledge and experience for properly installing Hardie products, which is key to a quality finish and long-term resilience. The entire crew had wonderful attitudes about the work and were easy to talk to when something needed to be discussed. The project manager supported the crew well, was very fast to respond when they needed additional materials. He checked in with me and the crew regularly, and pitched in to help when needed. We had some areas that presented challenges to the siding crew especially the walls behind our HVAC and city utilities equipment -- the crew did an amazing job installing around these items and still making the siding look great. All of the siding and trim work look really great and give our home a fresh new look.
