There was a significant delay because a winter storm hit in the middle of construction, but I was amazed at how well just the new insulation and wrap held up for a week before work was able to resume. "From start to finish, David worked with us through several scope changes and adjusted the contract as required. Jimmy and his seasoned crew made quick work of our old failing siding, installing fresh new Hardie siding, caulking and painting. This project involved a chimney and even when issues arose with the flashing, they quickly came out and made repairs. While here, they even cleaned our gutters. We will be using Spartan Contractors for the remainder of the house siding replacement in the spring and eventually replace our windows using them. "Silver has done a few home projects for me. He rebuilt a cedar fence around the perimeter of my home using high quality cedar and materials, he came back to complete the project with a stain and it looks fantastic. I believe I have the nicest fence in my neighborhood! Silver also worked with me to figure out the scope of a big home trim and paint project I needed to do on my 17 year old home. He was so patient as we worked through what needed to be done, and answered all of my questions, sometimes more than once...this work is not in my wheelhouse of knowledge and Silver understands how to care for his customer to ensure they feel good about the work as it is being completed, and follows up past when the project is closed out to ensure everything is as it should be. Silver said he would "take care of me" and he truly did. Beyond the high quality work Silver and his team does and use of top of the line materials, Silver's communication pre-project, project, and post-project are top notch. This was an extremely important element of the customer care he has. I will continue to use Silver for my home project and carpentry needs. He is my contractor and I'm thankful for the relationship we have built."

In addition I had some siding issues where the nails were backing out. He quickly assessed the problem and provided me a quote to take care of both items. "Original patio roof support beams on my 19 year old house had water damage, rot and loss of wood at the base. Dave of Alamo City Handymen gave me an estimate and discussed how the work would be done. He emailed me an estimate and I accepted their bid. Dave indicated that it might be a few weeks to get me on the schedule. I was happy to take his call on the weekend indicating that they could come on Monday due to an unexpected opening. The 2 men that came to do the work were professional, thorough and did fantastic work. They replaced the 6"x6" cedar beams and placed a metal footing on the concrete to set the beam on and trimmed the top and bottom. The finished job is beautiful. I am so pleased by their work and will definitely call on them again if I have other handyman projects. I used Angie's List SnapFix and they found the contractor. I LOVE this option! I didn't waste any time rummaging through a long list of potential contractors. Will definitely use this feature again. The whole process was painless and we got our needs met for our house repair."
