USA Foundation Repair has been setting high standards for the Corpus Christi TX area for many years. USA Foundation Repair is located in Corpus Christi TX, but you can still find us on Yelp, BBB, or the Super Pages! If you prefer a more personal experience you can call us at (361) 334-2323, or stop by our store located at 4610 Ayers St, Corpus Christi. We are also located near the USS Lexington Naval Musuem, the Texas state Aquarium, and the Corpus Christi Internalnational Airport! It is actually fairly simple to get to our office building from the Corpus Christi International Airport, follow these simple directions and we’ll have you at our doorstep in no time! Leaving the airport you want to get on TX-44 East from Pinson Drive, Glasson Drive, International Drive, and Agnes Street. Once on the the TX-44 East, you want to take TX-358 East to South Padre Island Drive. Take your exit towards Ayers Street from TX-358 East. Once there you want to drive until you hit Ayers street which is where we are located at.

"They did a great job and they are great people to work with. I would highly recommend them and I would hire them again."

Aztec House Leveling and Remodeling offers foundation repair, floor & concrete leveling, remodeling, roofing, and plumbing services to the South Texas residential and commercial properties. We are licensed, bonded, and insured and we’re able to provide an engineer certification upon request through an independent consultant. Our company provides free estimates and senior citizen discounts to all homeowners and our work has a 10 year guarantee with a lifetime transferable warranty. Our inspectors are well trained and qualified. Additional contact: Harlingen, TX (956) 412-1558 McAllen, TX (956) 631-0995 Brownsville, TX (956) 546-5657 Laredo, TX (956) 725-0556 Eagle Pass, TX (830) 752-6336 Toll Free (888) 745-9748

"Hired them to level one corner of an addition which was sinking and had broken the slab foundation resulting in a crack and non level floor in that corner. They jacked up the sunken corner and supported it with footings. I was generally satisfied with the work. However, the contract specified that they were to then come in and cut out a two foot trench (one foot each side of the ~15' crack in the slab), remove the rubble, drill in rebar to the two sides and refill the trench with concrete. After jacking up the corner, the two management level guys oohed and ahhed about how good the crack looked. They suggested that cutting the trench was not necessary. So, what I got was a guy spent a few hours grinding the two sides of the crack smooth in a few places and then pushing concrete into the crack. I was OK with that. However, that's a LOT of work they had just been relieved of and I felt a price adjustment was appropriate. That was not forthcoming. They charged me the full amount even though they did not have to do a big chunk of work they had signed a contract to do. So, despite what I felt was generally good work, I came away from the experience with a bad taste of "bait and switch". Be prepared for that if you hire them."

FAQs for foundation repair projects in Bishop, TX

If foundation problems are not fixed, not only do repairs eventually become very costly, but it can lead to structural damage to the house above. Eventually, if the foundation problems are allowed to persist, the foundation walls can cave in or collapse. That’s after other issues like flooding and mold have likely been allowed to develop. Although not all cracks are structural problems, some can be and even if they start out small, they can develop into major problems. The earlier foundation problems are discovered and fixed, the lower the cost to repair will likely be.

Yes, foundation repairs are worth the cost at any stage to avoid a dangerous living condition. A failed foundation can lower the value of your home by up to 20%. Whether it’s the smallest problem like a thin crack less than ⅛-inch wide, a horizontal crack, a crack letting water flow through, or a wall bowing inward, repairing foundation problems as soon as possible is worth the cost. Sometimes a temporary fix can be applied until you have the budget to completely fix the problem, but the longer the problems persist, the more costly repairs may be.

The most common first signs of foundation issues include:

  • Cracks in the foundation walls that grow

  • Signs of moisture or water leaking through cracks in the foundation

  • Standing water in the basement

  • Sagging floors or walls

  • Cracked walls in upper floors

  • Doors and windows that don’t close properly anymore

Foundation repairs cost about $5,000, on average. Typically, prices range from $2,200 to $7,800, depending on the type and extent of repairs needed. Cost factors include foundation type, home size, soil stability, accessibility, and the ultimate cause of the problem and what methods and materials are required to fix it.

If you’re noticing signs of foundation issues, the first step to fixing a foundation problem is to hire a foundation repair inspector. They will determine the problem, the cause, and the severity before recommending a course of action to repair the foundation. The method for fixing foundation problems depends on the problem and what options are available. A few possible solutions include:

  • Epoxy injections

  • Mudjacking

  • Piers made of steel or concrete

  • Jacks

  • Hydraulic piers

  • Carbon or steel reinforcement strips

  • Waterproofing materials
