Baird Foundation Repair is a third generation family owned company that was founded in the early 1960's by William Baird. Today, Baird Foundation Repair is one of the largest foundation and concrete repair contractors in South Texas, serving both residential and commercial clients. In addition to being a member of the Foundation Repair Association, Baird Foundation Repair is also a long-time member of the Better Business Bureau.

Two neighbors mentioned them, & after reading the booklet they brought explaining how their procedure is superior to other options (going down to bedrock with galvanized steel pipes) I was sold. I was kept well informed as the project went along. I know they were careful when they dug & jack hammered.

Concrete Flatwork Repair & Resurface
We had sinking concrete both in our sidewalk and driveway panel next to the garage apron. We hired Baird to do the repairs, including also sealing all of the driveway expansion joints. The results of this job exceeded our expectations and couldn't have asked for anything better. The team was very personable, professional and were happy to explain and demonstrate every step of the way. Highly recommend Baird.

The team leader, Steven and his crew are true professionals and second to none! When they arrived Steven took the time to explain the process for the repair and ensured that I clearly understood how it was going to be accomplished. I'm very impressed with the communication between Steven and his crew, each team member is very skilled in their craft. Concrete Foundation Raise
Physical work at address went very well. Getting paperwork to document the repair is difficult. I requested the measurements before the foundation was lifted and the measurements after the foundation was lifted and stabilized. I still waiting 2 weeks to receive.

Concrete Foundation Repair
I have nothing but good things to say about them. The rep came out, took pictures of what was existing under the house and worked with me on a budget that would fit my bank account. (My house is almost 100 years old, and different codes existed different times - vents, beams and piers.) The crew did their work starting early, coordinated with me on their schedule and my pups. (Letting the pups outside in the backyard and such.) And, when a crack was discovered in the existing cast iron pipes (plumbing where the house settled on the pipe) the crew worked around my plumbers. The company helped me finance the first phase of the job, which has been helpful with working within my budget.

When you need foundation work done check for these things: - prior foundation work done on your house - ask the representative who comes in and takes the level readings how far off level is your foundation. When the representative came and took the readings on our house, he did not say how off level it was. All he said was the house was leaning bad on the right side. When the foundation team came to install the piers, I found out that the house was off level by 1/2 inch (ca. 5 cm)! I paid almost $13,000 to have the right side of the house lifted 1/4 inch (ca. 10 cm). And then come to find out when the foundation crew started digging, previous foundation work had already been done! - read, reread and reread the contract before you sign it! Ask any question no matter how stupid you may think it is! - make sure you have a 4-inch sewer clean out so a plumber hired by the foundation company can come in and do a PRE and post hydrostatic test. Any water leaks in your plumbing will void the contract! All plumbing issues are the homeowners financial responsibility to repair!

Baird foundation has the best courteous and professional team. I called Rusty after a year to double check house levelling before construction begins and he was quick to respond and check out our home to give us ok to start cooking work. He even took time to check our front door and help to tighten up screws for door to close. He wentt the extra mile. We are very happy with Baird foundation.
