"We hired for alex two projects—installing an in-ground basketball hoop and installing a bathroom vanity—and we couldn’t be more pleased with the results! From start to finish, he was professional, skilled, and efficient. The basketball hoop installation was done with precision, ensuring everything was secure and level. The bathroom vanity installation was equally impressive. He worked diligently, cleaned up after the job, and ensured everything was functioning perfectly. If you’re looking for a reliable and skilled handyman, I highly recommend Siciliano Handyman services."

Customers say: Quality work

"Very smoothly. Mr. Ratliff responded to my call very promptly & showed up when he said he would. My entertainment center was assembled very professionally & in a short amount of time. Mr. Ratliff did an awesome job of cleaning up after the work was completed & made sure everything was in order & working properly. He was even so kind to call me back later to make sure everything was done to my satisfaction."

"Everything went very well and to my satisfaction. Everything was done very timely and effortlessly. I have been burned in the past by contractors so I am always skeptical and afraid of having my work not completed but this was a very smooth process and I am using Richard and the company for future work involving larger home improvement jobs to my house."

"I loved this company. The owner is always on site. They installed 3 chandeliers. My great grandmothers chandelier has been in the family for 3 generations. Itâ s valuable. Real crystal. Over $50k. Hundreds of fragile crystals. They installed it and our ceilings are 26 feet in some areas. They also installed a sub panel to upgrade my electrical to accommodate a generator they installed. When the power goes out me and my husband are safe as well as an upgrade to our Tesla charger. Thank you Angie and American Residential Construction. I will highly recommend"

Pool Table Assembly questions, answered by experts

You need new pool construction and installation if you are adding a completely new structure to your yard. Alternatively, existing issues like cracked shells, separating decks, or soil heaving point to structural repairs rather than full reconstruction. Because Arlington features expansive clay soils that shift seasonally, hire a professional to perform a geotechnical assessment before starting any major repairs.

Helpful?

Schedule your pool construction and installation between October and February. Cooler temperatures improve concrete curing, and your new addition will be ready for the long TX summer. Ensure your yard grading is established and resolve any existing home foundation issues first. Permit processing takes several weeks, so submit your application early to avoid delays before excavation begins.

Helpful?

Heavy spring and fall storms in Arlington can flood active excavation sites and delay timelines. Proper drainage planning is mandatory to direct water away from your home. Additionally, local expansive clay soils shrink during droughts and expand when wet. This severe cycle requires steel-reinforced concrete during pool construction and installation to prevent structural damage and withstand the intense TX climate.

Helpful?

For pool and spa service in Arlington, select materials that withstand expansive clay soils and extreme weather. Choose gunite or shotcrete for the shell and flexible plumbing connections to handle ground movement. Opt for durable quartz or pebble plaster finishes to resist scaling from hard municipal water. Install freeze-resistant equipment, like auto-drain valves and polyethylene fittings, to protect your system during sudden winter drops.

Helpful?

State law dictates that new pool construction and installation must include at least two safety features, such as a barrier fence, power cover, or alarms. Fences must stand at least 48 inches tall with self-closing, outward-opening gates. To protect bare feet and paws from the intense Arlington heat, select light-colored, textured deck materials and incorporate shallow tanning ledges for pets.
