When I had to remind him about that as he was leaving, he said he did not have his trimmers, but had a job in the area the next week and would be back. He did not come, and ignored my texts asking whether he was coming. Like most contractors I have dealt with, once they get their $, they drop off...regardless of whether the job is done or not. It is not a huge deal, but when someone leaves asking me to consider them for future work, they should complete what they say they are going to do if they want that to happen. I would still recommend them, but I would recommend getting an itemized list of every portion of the job to be done, and potentially assign a $ amount to each portion in the event that something changes in the plan."
