"Epic Lawn Service evaluated my fixes: removed the 7ft. stump of a 90 year oak tree, filled in the hole and smoothed the earth to match the yard around it, repaired 30 ft. of chain link fence, raked up leaves scattered around the house and on the roof. Epic Lawn finished the job on time and with care. Terrific Team!"

"George and his crew did an AMAZING job. I had started the project, but due to an injury I wasn't able to complete it. Lone Star came out the same day (on time) for an estimate and then showed up the next day (on time) and knocked the project out. They also picked up some extra plants on their lunch hour for us. They took our ideas and brought them to life. I've already asked for estimates for some additional work. Highly reccommend this group!!!"

"Decided to take a chance on this new company to remove kitchen appliances that were taking up space in my garage. This is a veteran owned, second generation enlisted Navy business. The prices were fair and the service prompt. Aaron picked up the items and took them to their donation destination. I would recommend this company to anyone that needs moving or removal services."

"I talked to them on the phone and they were very responsive. We needed debris hauled away from a renovation. The cost was more than fair and he had a crew to help him get the job done on time and in a timely manner. They have my highest recommendation for what we needed."

Leaf Removal questions, answered by experts

Professionals are trained in identifying hazardous materials and utilize industry-approved methods for safe handling and disposal. They adhere to regulatory frameworks to protect health and the environment, ensuring all materials are disposed of safely and responsibly.

When a surface that contains lead dust is disturbed, the dust can float about in the air for roughly an hour before settling again. Since you cannot see the dust, it is important always to wear protective gear when working with any materials that may contain lead paint and to keep children, pets, and others away from the area for as long as possible

No. Standard homeowners insurance does not cover any kind of lead remediation, focusing instead on sudden, unpreventable events like fires and theft. Many insurance companies will specifically exclude lead paint removal, since it tends to be an expensive and unavoidable project. The exception is if the lead surface is damaged during a covered event (like a flood) and homeowners insurance pays its replacement.

Embarking on a kitchen demolition comes with its share of risks to keep in mind. Think of potential encounters with asbestos, sharp objects, and power tools—not to mention the peril of structures wobbling or unexpected plumbing surprises. And, of course, you will be surrounded by dust and debris throughout the process. All of the above makes safety gear necessary, or you can consider hiring a qualified professional.

According to the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), hazardous waste is generally classified into four main categories:

1. Characteristic Wastes: These exhibit at least one of four hazardous traits: ignitability (flammable, like gasoline), corrosivity (can rust or decompose materials, like car batteries), reactivity (unstable and can explode, like aerosol cans), or toxicity (harmful when ingested, like lead-based paint).

2. Listed Wastes: These are specific wastes from manufacturing and industrial processes that the EPA has officially designated as hazardous. They include byproducts from processes that use solvents, pesticides, and other chemicals.

3. Universal Wastes: These are commonly generated hazardous items that are subject to streamlined regulations. Examples include batteries, pesticides, mercury-containing equipment (e.g., bulbs), and some lamps.

4. Mixed Wastes: This category includes waste that contains both hazardous and radioactive components, making it subject to regulation by both the EPA and the Nuclear Regulatory Commission.
