    George Hamby Painting is so much more than the name implies! We recently purchased a home in Maryville in need of extensive interior wall/ceiling/trim/cabinet surface work, amongst other things. We had a very tight deadline but even with supply chain issues and over-demand in the industry, George pulled together a fantastic team of dedicated carpenters, drywall experts, and highly skilled painters to turn our once little old smelly eyesore into a now lovely fresh updated home. The transformation is astounding. We had great roofing, foundation, HVAC, decking, landscape, finish work, and windows/siding teams as well, truly blessed! Without George setting the pace and seeing it through even during challenging times, however, we would never have met our necessary timeframe nor with such impeccable quality. I cannot recommend him enough, he keeps his word and goes the extra mile to provide the very best. Thank you, George, such a pleasure working with you! Let’s do it again

    McLain’s Painting is beyond professional. Professional in the initial visit and the detailed quote I received. Professional in the preparation. They came a few days before the scheduled job to do a pre-walk through to ensure they had everything they needed based on the scope of the job. Professional in how the finished product looks. No roll marks or streaking. Whether it’s the walls, baseboards or crown moulding; smooth finish. Honestly though, that isn’t what impressed me. That’s what I expect when I hire a professional painter. And I will say they did exceed those expectations because my job had a lot of detail and everything was consistent. Here’s what impressed me. 1. The level of care they all put into ensuring everyone on the job knew what the scope of the job was and did it right. Nothing was taken for granted. If they weren’t sure, they asked. 2. The level of care they put into fixing things that would have affected the quality of the work. I had some sagging ceiling drywall that was causing a crack. I didn’t know the build quality of the home was to blame. Instead of halting the job to get another trade in here to fix it, they did (an extra charge but well worth it). Equally impressive was how they fixed wall imperfections so the final product was smooth. Honestly, they used special lighting so they could find the imperfections! 3. The level of care they showed for each other. The entire crew was friendly with one another, was concerned for a co-worker who had been out sick, and were complimentary of one another’s work. When my wife saw their work, she said she is never going to paint again! I couldn’t agree more. If we need something else painted, I’m just going to call McLain’s

    Jeff and Shane are perfectionists and creative - you can't go wrong. Removed: 1 piece shower, vanity + sinks + counter large, 1 piece mirror, lighting, and wall paper. Replaced with tile shower (included niche and small bench seat), vanity, vanity top, sink + faucets, mirrors, and lighting. Jeff and Shane did a fantastic job and showed their creativity when unexpectedly, 2 batches of tiles were different thicknesses, the vanity we ordered (measured by different vendor) didn't fit plumbing so the plumbing had to be moved and adjusted (and some drywall replaced), and shipping delays stretched the job out longer than expected. Our new bathroom is beautiful and we really appreciate Jeff and Shane's attention to detail and for creating something special. This is the second job Jeff completed at our home (previous was kitchen remodel) and I would hire him for a third

    The work was done well by Jon and Riley with oversight by project manager Andrew. All three are very professional, competent, exacting, and personable. I could not be more pleased with the results of their labors or with them as people working in my home. The same must be said for Kevin who evaluated the project and gave me an estimate as well as Alex and Angel who have painted the interior, put down new baseboards, and replaced an improperly installed floor.
