"Cory and Bobby were friendly and informative about the process. The Berber carpet looked better than I anticipated, after it had dried completely (8 to 12 hrs) There were some high traffic areas that they informed me might not be restored completely, due to the long length of time that had passed since the previous cleaning. Those areas definitely improved after their initial cleaning, and improved a bit more when they returned a few days later to re-address those areas. I will use A Step Above in the future. "American Services ( Uzi ) was helpful and accommodating from our first estimate meeting. The final product exceeded expectations. The work crews were friendly and skilled. The project will take ( it’s in the final stage) approximately 3 1/2 weeks. This is a deck demo and redesign/ rebuild -almost doubling size and adding a screened room with a stone wall and tiled floor. Also a flagstone area and additional storage room underneath. Uzi was accessible at all points of the process and responsive to our input. Zero communication barriers as noted in a prior review. Construction was completed to request re: using hangers, bolted posts etc… I definitely would recommend."

"Everything installed looked good, used panel sheets for shower walls. The only issues we had was the shower could have been wider from entry glass door to back wall but we were not given an option to make that request. Also the walls where the Jacuzzi was torn out were not repaired smoothly but was rough and had a ridge in the middle."

"Backsplash installers were messy left trash in garage. Never could get them back out to seal the grout. Mirrors were not hung evenly. Only one side need to be rehung, but never could get them back out to rehang it. Had to call the project manager out to correct a couple of areas that the backsplash installers did not do and to haul off trash. I was told a couple of times to leave my key under the mat because the project manager, Casey, would be out, but he was always a "no show". I finally got tired of fooling with them and told them to forget it because I did not like leaving my key under the mat everyday with my security system turned off; they never responded."
