"They wanted to do both services in one day. The wood should be completely dry before painting. I had the same service completed last year and there was at least two days scheduled between the cleaning and painting. When I questioned why they were cutting corners this year the owner suggested I seek service elsewhere. I did just that!!!!!!"

"Scott was very prompt and professional. He was able to clean a rug that a different company missed and refused to refund me for. Scott’s customer service was 5 star and he worked us into his schedule quickly. The solution he used also smelled much better than the previous company. I highly recommend Wade’s carpet and textile cleaning services"

"They do such an amazing! I first hired them to do a move in cleaning when I bought my house back in July. They were so communicative and transparent about the entire cleaning process. They sent pictures throughout the entire time they cleaned and kept me updated. I ended up hiring them again to clean out my old house. Now, they come every month to help me deep clean everything. I highly recommend them for any cleaning service you need!"

Cleaning questions, answered by experts

There are many different cleaning services available to tidy up and take care of specific cleaning tasks, you may not want to tackle yourself. That allows you to mix-and-match DIY with professional services to get the deep clean you want..

If you’re looking for someone to organize your stuff, you can hire for that, too. For an average of $526, professional organizers can tackle closets, attics, garages, and more, which could be helpful if you’re making major home changes.

To neutralize mildew smell, you can use natural deodorizers like baking soda or activated charcoal. Baking soda absorbs odors; sprinkle it liberally on the affected area, let it sit for a few hours, then vacuum it up. Activated charcoal, available in pouches, works similarly. Vinegar, with its natural acidic properties, can also neutralize odors. Mix equal parts water and vinegar, spray the affected area lightly, then blot it with a dry cloth. Enzymatic cleaners are effective too, breaking down odor-causing compounds.

If you’re hiring a house cleaner, you should have them clean the house bi-weekly. This is the most common frequency for people who hire house cleaners, but what’s best for you will depend on how big your house is, how many people live in it, and if you have any pets. If you can maintain tidiness and deal with any immediate spills or splashes on your own, then a professional clean bi-weekly or even monthly should do the trick.

Housekeepers use a range of products to clean bathrooms, including vinegar, all-purpose spray, toilet bowl cleaner, and glass cleaner. Some house cleaners use bleach products, while others may provide an option for all-natural products. You can certainly speak to your cleaning pro to discuss which products you prefer they use in your bathroom.

Vinegar is an excellent cleaning ingredient for freezer parts and interior walls. Make a homemade cleaner with distilled white vinegar and warm water to thoroughly clean your freezer. It works well for cleaning up stubborn spills.
