"This is the second concrete project completed by LG Dirtbusters at our home. Loren and his crew did an excellent job on our first project about a year ago (large patio, walkway and driveway), and we got the same high quality on this second project at front of house. Other contractors may charge less, but don’t do as good a job - we have had no cracks anywhere, and have excellent drainage away from the house, and a beautiful concrete finish. They have the right equipment to do a very professional job. Several people were so impressed and they stopped at our house and asked us who did our project. Loren and his crew are honest, prompt and very reliable, and worked very hard to get it done right. Highly recommend for any concrete project."

With proper maintenance, asphalt milling driveways can last 30 years or more. Over time, you’ll need to regularly sealcoat your driveway. You should also have your driveway inspected every few years and make any repairs as soon as they are necessary; this will prolong the lifespan of your driveway.

Gravel driveways are the most economical driveway material, followed pretty closely by asphalt and concrete. At about $1 to $3 per square foot, gravel is about a third of the cost of either of the more common alternatives. Give your driveway at least 24 to 48 hours to dry. After 72 hours, you can walk or park on it, but tread lightly. It might look solid, but it’s still soft and can be easily damaged. It can take 30 days to a year for an asphalt driveway to fully cure, so avoid parking extremely heavy vehicles on it. For the best results, always check with your contractor for their advice. Different mixes and weather conditions can affect curing times, so it’s worth waiting longer if it means a driveway that lasts.

The three most common types of asphalt are hot asphalt, MC cold mix, and UPM asphalt. Hot asphalt is used most often for paving and patching roadways while it’s hot and workable. MC cold mix asphalt cures more slowly than hot asphalt, but it can be used for temporary patches and repairs in low-traffic areas. UPM is also used cold, but it can be used as a longer-term fix, usable in almost any conditions at almost any temperature.
