SDS Tree & Stump Removal

It went well. They made time to swing by after finishing a job the day I called to take a look at tree, location and access. Came promptly the next morning as planned and got to work. Cleaned up all brush and limbs and left the good part of the trunk as requested. Price quote was reasonable.

The crew arrived early in the morning as scheduled. They scoped out the property to decide how best to get the truck in position in relation to the power lines. They put plywood down on the lawn to protect it. The crew was very efficient and thorough taking the box elder down, removing the stump and cleaning up the area.

The workers (6) arrived on time and were essentially finished in 2 hrs. and 15 minutes ... They original time estimate was 3 hours ... Their job was to remove a 60 ft. white pine tree and stump ... They were very efficient and worked as a team, with each worker performing his job without getting into each others' way ... The price was reasonable and the workers were friendly and professional ... I would definitely recommend SDS to neighbors and friends ...

I called SDS in March for the removal of a topped tree and trimming of branches over the street, the fenceline, and the cables and buildings on our property. The estimate appointment was quick, and when I called to schedule the service, I got a projected date of about 3 weeks later. My personal schedule bumped the date to 4 weeks out, but it would've been right on the dot otherwise. The crew arrived early on the scheduled date and the foreman walked the property and confirmed the work with me. All the workers wore PPE and were coordinated and efficient. Their arborist climbed 2 of the trees to prune off limbs, and they also used a lift to get into the canopy and trim the branches near our house. They were careful to secure all removed material on its way down, and they removed the branches, logs, and other debris from the premises. The whole project took about 2 hours, which was much faster than I was expecting. I was impressed with the SDS crew's speed, care, and safety, and I'll definitely give them a call next time our little urban forest needs some management.

First rate team - professional, used safety gear, tie offs, lanyards, straps and cable slings were in good shape, all equipment functioned as required. They cleaned all debris and raked neighbors yard of debris. Cleaned my back yard and driveway. Already recommended to neighbor and he has signed them up.

You couldn't ask for a more professional group of men to do the work they are very efficient and courteous and they work like a well oil machine if I had more trees to be taken down I would definitely call S D S tree and stump removal it would be a big mistake if you didn't call them Thanks Butch

SDS arrived for their estimate on time and give me a very reasonable price. Scott even rearranged their schedule to do the job 2 days later so the tree was gone before we had our driveway scheduled to be paved. Their 8 man crew all arrived as scheduled the climber the crew had the tree down, chipped, loaded and the yard cleaned in less than 3 hrs. They worked efficiently and were considerate of the grounds.

It was difficult to get into their schedule. Once scheduled, they sent in a large crew and got a big job done in less than a day.

Responded to my call in timely manner. Was able to get to me very quickly, was very nice on phone and to work with. Removed all trees with no damage to house or yard. Worked quickly, had all equipment nessesary. Did leave small amount trash in yard where workers parked. Just glad i found can before i mowed.

They dropped a large limb on a section of my fence and crushed it. I spoke to Scott that day: first he denied that his men dropped the limb; when I told him I saw it fall (they lowered most limbs slowly with ropes, but this one slipped and fell full speed), he said the fence was already damaged. It had been damaged by falling limbs over the winter, but it was still standing until that day. He argued that with me until I showed him a picture of the fence still standing after the winter damage-the section next to it was down, but the section they hit was not. When he couldn't refute that, he said he'd come talk to me later, after they cleaned up. He didn't. I called and left a message with a person. I called again a week later and left a voicemail. I emailed him via his website. There has been no response. Completely unprofessional and irresponsible!

The price was excellent. When they left you couldn’t even tell there was a tree there. They were awesome. They told me when they would be here and they were there then. I’ve recommended them to some of my friends and they’ve used them and are very happy with them.

The best tree service I've ever used! Within about 3 hours, all trees were properly and safely taken down and removed and all stumps ground and removed. All branches, roots, leaves, wood chips, etc were cleaned up and the lawn and yard was raked clean. It looked as if no one was ever here, that the trees just disappeared on their own. The have a special machine that carries the tree trunks and branches, so no one is dragging heavy limbs across your lawn and tearing it up or leaving debris all over. The crew was very professional, experienced, friendly, licensed and insured, and all Americans so we had no problems communicating with them whatsoever. I will definitely use them again.

Exceptional time frame. Trees were taken down quickly and any branches etc were quickly picked up. Stump grinding was done promptly. Exceptional workmanship. No doubt would hire them again.

Scott and his team were very prompt, efficient and courteous. I do not hesitate to recommend SDS to anyone ... in fact my neighbors did on the same day and others on the block will be using SDS. Scott did our job and the neighbors in approx 10 hours by using his vast array of powerful equipment and skilled workers ... other companies were more expensive and stated the job would take at least 2 days

Exceptional service. I left a message and quickly received a call back to set up an appointment for an estimate. After agreeing on a price (which included the 10% discount), the crew member was there within a short timeframe and performed an excellent job. He was very thorough and neat. I was extremely pleased and would highly recommend this company. They are a pleasure to work with.

Excellent! SDS is my go to tree service every time. I wouldn't call anyone else unless there was an emergency and they were not available. I hired SDS for two separate projects, the team was very consistent: -Scott (owner) came out to assess the job and provide an estimate on the same day -SDS called a day or two before to confirm the start date -SDS team started early (~7am) and did not finish until the job was done on same day -Great equipment; brought cranes and machinery to process the lumber/stumps on site - After triple bidding I found nobody could match their prices for this level of professionalism - I would recommend modifying their advertising to cash/check to match their practice This is dangerous and difficult work, so I offer my best wishes for success and safety to the hardworking SDS team!
