He came out next day took some measurements we talked about a plan and how we wanted the driveway pitched to the street. Bob Made us feel comfortable talking with him and we felt confident in hiring him.He also is a huge dog lover!... Crew arrived next day 8:40 right before 9 to start paving. Whole crew was fast and efficient. Nice guys and we're very professional. You can tell Bob takes his job serious along working with his son. Loren and his crew did an excellent job on our first project about a year ago (large patio, walkway and driveway), and we got the same high quality on this second project at front of house. Other contractors may charge less, but don’t do as good a job - we have had no cracks anywhere, and have excellent drainage away from the house, and a beautiful concrete finish. They have the right equipment to do a very professional job. Several people were so impressed and they stopped at our house and asked us who did our project. We have reached out on 3 separate occasions. My wife and I have been told different stories by different people as to what happened, but not much of it is adding up. After holding our deposit for over two months the manager said-- "We cannot do anything more to compensate you." Apparently, it is being overnighted this evening. Sadly, my advice is to proceed with caution. I give 2-stars because they apparently still have the money to refund me, it could have been worse I suppose."

The main difference between asphalt and blacktop is that asphalt has a lower ratio of bitumen—a low-grade tar-like crude oil—than blacktop. While blacktop is heated to 300 degrees or more, hot-mix asphalt is heated to a lower temperature, typically between 275 and 300 degrees Fahrenheit. You can expect your asphalt pavement to last anywhere from 20 to 30 years, or 25 years on average. So, if you have the option, wet cutting is the better method for most asphalt jobs.

With proper maintenance, asphalt milling driveways can last 30 years or more. Over time, you’ll need to regularly sealcoat your driveway. You should also have your driveway inspected every few years and make any repairs as soon as they are necessary; this will prolong the lifespan of your driveway.
