"Very prompt in coming out and measuring and letting us pick out what we wanted. They couldn't do the floor, only around the tub and in the shower. They would not remove the old tile (which was in excellent condition, just outdated) wanted to use the acrylic and cover it up! I didn't like that idea and also didn't like the look. The price was outrageous, wanted over $12,000 just to cover up. I found a tile guy who did both bathrooms (removed the old tile down to the studs) including floors, with rich, durable porcelain tile. He also installed insert boxes in both and a seat in the shower. We did both bathrooms from top to bottom including replacing fixtures, sinks, cabinet tops, commodes, etc. for $2,000 LESS. Yes, it did take longer but the finish product is no comparison. I would not recommend this company, it pays to shop around!"

"It was beyond perfect. Even the cabinet installers were impressed with their quality and workmanship. Odd edges were perfectly ground with little cuts  and curves. The granite was beautiful and we picked the slab we wanted from thousands of colors and designs!  Teri was very special and answered every question and was in constant contact on the progress. "I knew the septic tank probably needed to be pumped out but didn't know exactly where it was.  After checking Angie's List I chose 1St Choice Septic  based on their great reviews and I'm so glad I did.  After speaking with Erin (who is extremely knowledgeable and can answer all your questions)  I set up an appt. for them to come out.  They came promptly and began to determine where my septic tank was.  This was not easy since the original owner had put it 4 feet underground!  This was quite unusual, as I found out!  That meant an additional expense of 300.00 to get a bobcat out to excavate which was completely logical to me.  Hand digging was not a reasonable option but 1ST Choice kept the cost to a minimum for me .  Anyway, after  all the digging, they discovered my main line was cracked (tree roots) and needed to be replaced and also the tee trap.  Through all this process Erin kept me informed while I was at work and I really appreciated this.  The customer service they give is excellent.  They gave me  individual prices for replacing the main line to the house,  a new tee trap, and installation of risers to prevent the need  and expense of digging down four feet the next time the tank needs pumping.  I could have all three things done  and paid for at separate times or  have all three things done at one time for less cost, saving me  about 800.00.  Of course I had everything done together and the cost was 1150.00.  Again, I received excellent customer service and will always use and refer them in the future!  They are the experts!

"I thought they did a good job. The price was fabulous. The workmanship was very good. The carpentry, tiling, wainscoting was excellent. The only reason I did not give an A was because the initial installation of the medicine cabinet was not plumb. The way that they joined the baseboard to the tub was not aesthetically pleasing either. They did fix the medicine cabinet, so now I am very happy with that."

"James was responsive, courteous, and professional AND helped us diagnose - free of charge on a follow-up call - an ammonia smell related to our sealed crawlspace completely unrelated to the plumbing.  He even referred us to a new termite / pest / company (whom we have chosen to take over service following our purchase of the home).  He also checked our entire crawlspace for leaks or other issues that might have been missed by our inspector and provided a wealth of information on AAV valves, pressure regulators and anything else I could throw at him.  Perhaps the best part - James (a very experienced plumber) is the owner AND... does the work HIMSELF with a colleague in tow.  Touch 2 O faucets (this is our third in 3 homes in 3 years) can be a bit finicky and this install was completed without a hitch.  If you want the same experienced professional that QUOTES the job to also be the one to COMPLETE it, pick Gentile Plumbing!

Our water heater had been in the attic since the house was built, about 15 years.  We had started thinking it was time to replace it, before we had an incident that would require drywall and paint.  Scott, The Water Heater Experts owner, is GREAT!  He came out to assess our situation and advised me on the pros and cons of tankless water heating. We decided to replace our existing tank with a new one, rather than installing tankless. Scott pointed out the items in the attic that would need to be brought up to code and included that in the replacement estimate. The new heater is the same brand as our previous one (Rheem, 50 gal) with some new features that Scott took care to explain.  Scott and an assistant brought the new heater and removed the old one, which I thought would be a real trick to get it out of the attic but I honestly did not hear them remove it and didn't even know it was done.  They shut off the water, drained the tank and made the code adjustments and installation in about 2.5 hours. I was completely impressed by how they approached the project and cleaned up after themselves. Because water heaters are a once every 10-15 year purchase, companies like these rely on recommendations rather than repeat business (although Scott guarantees his installations and supports any problems.)  I can say I highly recommend Scott and the Water Heater Experts!
