Benjamin Franklin's technicians performed outstanding service, installing an entire new and superior tankless hot water system, replacing our inferior and dangerously flawed tankless system that no longer performed. The lead technician was up front regarding the reasons for replacement, the cost of replacement, as well as less expensive alternatives. After we decided to replace with a new tankless system and because of the price point, the lead technician suggested time plan payment alternatives which was very helpful.

The day of installation, the crew arrived on time as promised and suggested that the unit be placed on the outside of the house instead of underneath in the crawl space, allowing for easy access for maintenance and trouble shooting as well as for safety. An excellent suggestion since the old tankless system had been installed against a wall in the crawl space underneath our bedroom floor which the lead technician noted, would have been bad for us if the corroded pipes had started leaking gas! Anyway, the entire job was completed without a hitch and again right on time as promised.

The new system has been working perfectly for six months now and we could not be more pleased! I would highly recommend Benjamin Franklin and their technical crews to anyone with plumbing issues - two thumbs up!

"I called Tuesday afternoon.  Received a call back the same day saying they were backed up and it may be 2 weeks before they could get here.  I told him that was fine.  He called back Wednesday and said he had a crew doing some work nearby on Thursday and they would try to come out then.  He would call me between 10am and Noon.  I received his call just about Noon and he said the crew would be over within the hour and they were.  An inspection was done from the attic.  The repairman then went on the roof to check it.  He asked me to come around toward the back and explained exactly why my roof was leaking.  He called to get a price for the repairs and once I told him to go ahead he was finished within the hour.  He cleaned up his mess and packed his gear and rang the bell for me.  I told him to come in, but he declined as he was cleaning his hands with gas and didn't want to make my house smell like gas.  (That I respected a lot)  I told him I didn't mind.  I wrote him the check.  Thanked him for his work.  Shook his hand and he left. 
I will have no hesitation in calling them again.  I just came out of the attic and there are no leaks.  And it is raining.

"I have used PECO for HVAC work several times and they are great for that. I recently called to have them install gas piping for my range and to pressure test. Jeremy came out to assess the job, then did not call or set another time to complete the work. I called PECO to ask when he would return and the girl that does the scheduling seemed to not remember the first visit, which was 4 days prior. She set us up for the following Monday. The next day, I found another person to complete the job. When I called PECO to cancel, the girl had no recollection from the previous day that she had told me we were on Jeremys schedule for Monday. She said we were not scheduled. I told her that I was glad I called again, since we would have waited another week and would have still not received a visit from Jeremy. I told her I found someone else and to cancel and she seemed to care less about the scheduling issues she created. I was trying to be courteous in letting them know, but it turned out to be a waste of time. If you can get them to come to your home, their work is good"
