"I decided that I wanted a standby electric generator for my house. Not knowing anything about generators, I began looking for advice on exactly what I should purchase. After talking to several electrical contractors, Tri-City was obviously the most knowledgeable on the subject. Chad (of Tri-City) helped me choose the right generator for my situation, with no promise that I would use him to do the installation. He and his brother Jason came by here to look at my situation and didn't try to get me to commit to anything or try the old trick of "We'll knock off the charge for the estimate when we do the installation". After I had chosen a generator and had it delivered, (I got it from electricgeneratorsdirect.com), Chad and Jason came out here and built a wood-framed gravel pad, made sure it was level and attractive, then moved the generator from my garage and placed it on the pad and did all the connections that were possible before the gas company came to perform some necessary modifications. After the gas was hooked up, they returned and completed the installation. Not only did they do an outstanding job, they stayed around for a couple hours testing it to make sure it was working properly. I no longer have to think about who I will call when I need anything electrical done! These guys are head and shoulders above any other electrical contractor I was able to find!"

"Noel came to my house to install a sun tunnel.  Another contractor started the job and never finished.  I'm happy that the name of his business changed because the other company had a similar name and they were absolutely untrustworthy which may have accounted for the mixup and some poor ratings prior.
There wasn't enough material to install the interior part of the sun tunnel due to prior poor placement of the exterior part of the unit.  We rescheduled this installation (at no additional cost to me) and Noel came to do the work on 11/9.  It took the entire BIG DEAL time to complete the sun tunnel - not through any fault of Noel - but because of the mess left by the prior contractor.  He went on to repair a hole in my living room ceiling which was the result of a roof window being removed (another job left incomplete by the prior contractor).  He wasn't feeling very well and there was other work to do which we rescheduled at our mutual convenience.
Noel is trying his hardest to clear up the prior poor ratings which I read and some seem unfair.  I found him to be prompt, courteous and very accommodating.  Susan does his scheduling and is an absolute DOLL!  She cancelled and rebooked appointments for me (my request due to personal health issues) and is always professional and courteous.
So far, I am more than satisfied with The English Handyman.

Pampered Pools responded that they did above-ground pools, so Andy came out to give me an estimate. Since the pool had not been used for a couple of years, I was very pleased with the estimate. As Andy worked on the pool to clean it up, I asked him about a noise that I did not remember hearing. He checked and said it was the bearings in the filter motor. I asked him to replace the motor and also to change out the sand as I had not had that done.
I pool looks lovely and there is no noise. He did an excellent job and will be continuing to service it for me.
